The sides are shaping up for the megabattle.
The Dark Alliance under Je'remy, "Rem-dog",Dread Lord of the Dark Elves of the East:
-Wayne, Elector Count of Cameron, Batman of Wayne Manor -Sean, Gamesmaster and Cheezemeister of the Wolfe Clan -Dru-fus Nobleborn of the High Elves of Atlantis -Mello Yello, Slann of the Lizardmen currently of England but until recently of Atlantis, arch enemy of Dru-Fus for obvious reasons (and also just mad about Saffron) -Thane Ross of Rus of the Smirnoff Klan
Pure Awesomeness under Lan'kee, the Usurper, Commissar and Secretary General of the United Workers Proletariat State of Dark Elvism:
-The leader formerly known as Gentleman Brian, Headmaster of Fair Haven but now called Xbx, Daemon Master of the Dread Legion of Znthxpkltz -Pooh-fay, Sheriff of the Rock Ridge Lancers (Somebody go get a sh**load of dimes!) -"Git in my belly!" Tom, Butcher of the Ogres of the Insatiable Hunger
Also rumored to be in the immediate area but of unknown leanings are:
Tester, Bray Shaman of the Shawn-ni Beastmen Gutripper, Warleader of the Orcs of the Steaming Entrails
Notably absent is Count Chuck of the Ula Vampires, who are off seeking new blood and really could care less about who wins and rules because they will still just continue to do what they do best - suck.

King Je'remy, Rem-Dog of Godstorm. Je'remy likes the sound of those words as they roll off his lips. His eight point lead and seeming success in having 6 of the 11 Godstorm factions firmly allied with him and a seventh, the vampires, off exploring new blood in the New World have made him confident of victory. He only needs to gather his forces, make his opponent come to him, and then defeat the usurper on grounds of his choosing.
However, Je'remy's army is in the far eastern region of Godstorm and his allies are concentrated to the West and North. He needs time to gather his forces. He has issued orders to his allies to meet at Athen Roy, a place chosen as much for its unexpectedness as anything.
Athen Roy was once a vibrant way station on a major trade route through Godstorm. Located between the Elysian Fields to the north (just beyond the Grand Canyon of Unending Beauty across the Bridge of Flowers) and the Forest of Ewing (filled with nymphs and faeries) to the south, Athen Roy was a popular stop for traders and travelers.
However, the decades long Chaos Wars destroyed the Elysian Fields and turned them into the Chaos Wastes. The Grand Canyon is now referred to as the Daemon Abyss and the bridge linking the Wastes to Athen Roy is the Bridge of Death.
To the south, the grand, sunny, welcoming Forest of Ewing has been occupied by the Beastmen of Shawn-ni and now is a dark, deadly, and foreboding place, laced with their shrubberies and connecting paths.
Athen Roy itself is a ghost town except for the Governor William J Lepatamaine Home for Criminally Insane Damsels.
It is on this spot that Je'remy's forces will unite and then advance to victory.
Wayne, Batman of Wayne Manor, Thane Ross of Rus, Dru-Fus of Atlantis, and Gamesmaster Sean have all arrived at Athen Roy on schedule. But all is not well. Lord Je'remy has not been heard from since his army embarked on their ships to traverse the Black Sea and proceed up the Danube toward Athen Roy. Further, their Lizardmen allies, arch enemies of Dru-Fus, Lizardbane, Usurper of Atlantis, are also strangely silent and missing.
To add to the unease, the Beastmen of Shawn-ni are stirring in the Forest of Ewing and there are rumors of a Orc army on the loose in the Chaos Wastes.
Wayne, Ross, Dru-Fus, and Sean have held councils and tarried at Athen Roy longer than planned trying to decide what to do next. Finally the are preparing to move forward even without Je'Remy and their scaly skinned allies.

Meanwhile, Lan'Kee, the Usurper, knows his numbers are few but he knows his allies to be true (Um - "associates", not allies as Dark Elves have no allies or friends, only associates, slaves, and victims) and Lord Je'Remy and his allies will soon be counted as victims and slaves.
While he has not the numbers, Lan'Kee knows he has the ferocity of his associates -Xbx, "Get in My Belly" Tom, and Pooh-Fay. Time is not on his side and he must strike and strike fast before Je'remy can gather his full might.
That his opponent chose Athen Roy as the assembly point of his armed host was truly a surprise to Lan'Kee. But his spies tell him of Je'remy's absence and the growing uncertainty among the enemy. He knows that this may be his one chance to have at his opponent on equal terms.

Alas the Hordes of Chaos are being diverted tommorow to the montshire museum with my 2 slaaneshi sisters and her their chaos spawn for a raid of pillaging and learning. They seem not to understand the blood that will be spilt at this megabattle.
May the better Druchii win tommorow!
Thanks again Steve for all the work.. It was a blast!

As the mysterious savage Orc shaman Morkblud has finished his research paper rough draft on Steinbeck (he has a soft spot for classic literature), he will be leading his rambling band of greenskins, The Blud Gits, against whichever foe promises a better challenge.

What a great image - the savage orc shaman kickin back with a Steinbeck novel. He probably has his reading glasses on too!
And now Xbx, Daemon Master of the Dread Legion of Znthxpkltz is going to the science museum?
What is the Warhammer world coming to?
Mello Yello and his Lizzies may actually have to put aside their vendetta against Dru-Fus and actually fight tomorrow!
