Style has won out in the end, and Mistress Morathi will be cutting off her dreadlocks and getting a proper haircut. Also, not that it matters, but because they felt the need to get involved in a dispute between two Dark Elves, the inhabitants of the continent can now deal with the massive fires covering the entire place and the sinking of Atlantis.

Wayne, Count of Cameron, Batman of Wayne Manor surveys the fields of Athen Roy from the tower of the Asylum. It will be a good day! The council is decided and the united armies will march today. The Lizardmen arrived during the evening hours. They were late because they set a trap on Mount Shire and ensorceled the Dread Legion of Xbx in their museum maze of activities, displays, and diabolical gift shops. Further the legions of Tstr of Stjnsbr succumbed to the wasting sickness as they tried to pass the forests of Ewing.
But now Wayne sees a messenger speeding toward the Asylum. The bugles are blowing in his wake. Men, dwarfs, elves, and skaven are rushing to arms. The armies of Lan'Kee are at hand! The battle for Godstorm will be fought here at Athen Roy. Where is Lord Je'Remy??
Kommissar Lan'Kee cares not for the two missing Chaos armies (mere wimps if truth be known!) nor that he is outnumbered. He has staked all on one lightning fast strike to fell his enemy. And he has recruited the Blud Gits orcs and goblins to join his attack.
The Elves of Dru-Fus and the Dwarfs of Ross of Rus held the right flank with their own steamtank and a Slann and his temple guard backing them up against the massed cavalry assault of Pooh-Fay and Lan'Kee which included two steamtanks and a pair of hydra in support of their knights.
The Center was held by Wayne's Empire forces and Sean's Skaven horde with a Stegadon in support, pitted against the Blud Gits and Butcher Tom's Ogres.
On the left, in the Chaos Wastes, the remainder of the Lizardman army was deployed facing only a few dark elf crossbowmen. Lan'Kee had left this flank open to concentrate his numerically inferior numbers on the other two fronts.
The armies of Lan'Kee surged foreword. The air and ground were rent with the force of the storm of shot and magic that met them!
Lan'Kee and his evil minions deftly used their 20 desperation counters to deflect the magic cast against them. (And to survive a few insane courage tests and save those black orcs from the savage fury of clanrats backed up by a stegadon ancient!)
The battle was desperate and fierce with many epic tales to be told of heroism (and some cowardice sadly as well - never trust a Rat Ogre!). It was a battle for objectives. Lan'kee managed a one point lead on turn one and expanded that to four points on turn three. By the bottom of turn four the forces of Je'Remy found themselves unable to make up that four point deficit and, with Je'Remy still mysteriously absent, decided to quit the field.
It was a 56-52 point win for Lan'Kee and his minions.

And, immediately, the scheming begins anew. With the sinking of Atlantis, the Elves and Lizardmen (now both "formerly of Atlantis") have put aside their differences and secretly given asylum to the now hunted Je'remy. Emissaries have been sent to both Xbx and Tstr.
Watch for Godstorm II - The Wrath of Je'Remy coming to a game store near you soon!
Thanks to all who participated. And now, with temperatures in the 70's this upcoming weekend, it is time to put an end to our winter campaign.

I wasn't there for the campaign, but the megabattle was epic! Thanks Steve, it was a great test of my orcs and goblins. I was with my my rampaging fanatics as they brained their empire and skaven foes, especially the unit of clanrats that had the misfortune of being hit by three of them at once, then had the added misfortune of running through one of them again as they fled the carnage. I was, however, very disappointed in my chariot, which managed to inflict zero wounds and then ran away. Granted he was going against knights with a 1+ armor save, but I have decided that in a 2000 point army I might be better served with a stone thrower or a giant unit of squig herds. As far as the whole black orc/stegadon/clanrat battle went, hooray for desperation points!

"held" might not be the best verb. "stood in the way of a bunch of monsters, knights and hydras and got trampled" might be more accurate. Yes. Amazing how the destruction of the land we fought over made us put aside our war and pursue vengeance together *adopts best Shatner voice* LANKYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Thank you! It has been quite a Monday and I needed a good laugh right about now!
Well, your guys have the ears to be Spock so I guess that leaves my Slann to be Kirk which works if we are talking about the current day Shatner.
