My plastic car thanks you for not subjecting it to the 70MPH cross winds on the interstate
Also, my Bladelord (Swordmaster Champion) will be on hand to dispatch all the enemies of Ulthuan on Saturday. Though, I'm slightly worried about chaos warriors and dwarfs and nasty 2+ armor saves in close combat. Still, I'm better off than the dark elves, and that's all that matters!

Did the epic Elf vs. Dwarf battle for Rus ever take place this week?
Did the three (Wayne, Chuck, Drew) who each have 2 PI markers on Galicia ever work out a diplomacy point for one to support another in taking the territory?

Drew has given me a diplomacy point to side with him against those pesky Vamps. Drew now has my 2PI points to use giving him a total of 4PI for the territory.

Pending battles from Turn Five:
Gaul - 500 points of Brian's Chaos vs. 1000 points of Sean's Skaven. Brian also has 2 PI markers there so he wins the territory if there is a draw.
Sicilia - 42 territories on the map. 2 Empire players. It figures that they both end up with 2000 points landing on this island! I believe Wayne will be offering a Diplomacy Point to someone for fighting in his place as his schedule will not permit him to be at the store this week. If you are interested PM him. (Chris - Here is your chance to get a Diplomacy Point from Wayne to fight yourself. Then you defeat yourself. You get a battle point, a diplomacy point, and the territory - Ha!) Wayne - You need to find someone to defend your honor. A draw or a loss here and you army is a wandering horde with no territory to call home.

The dark Elves of Jeremy were bought pretty easialy for 1 diplomacy point to fight for Wayne's empire who are off doing other tasks at home.
Chris - Jeremy is available on Tuesday night. If you can't meet him anytime this week Steve will have to determine the outcome of the battle.
I know Jeremy is itching for a fight!

Turn Six Special Rules:
All those who chose Political Influence as their points multiplier rejoice! This turn is LONG LIVE THE KING! as patriotic fervor washes over the continent of Godstorm. Every territory you control at the end of this turn gives you one Political Influence point!!!!!
Also, with only three turns left before the megabattle it is time to ramp up the campaigning! You may now field up to 4000 points! No single army may exceed 2000. So, this turn you may place all 4 political markers as well as all 4000 points broken down into combinations of 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 as you choose. The limit of 5 moves is lifted this turn as the campaigning moves into high gear. Lets generate some battles this week. With one PI point per territory, the competition should be fierce.
There still seems to be interest in doing the Thunderdome of Champions so we will try to do that on Thursday. If you cannot be there Thursday, send along the stats of your champion and we will enter him anyway.

Turn Six battles to be resolved:
Thule - Brian 1000 vs. Drew 1500
Galicia - Wayne 1500 vs Drew 1000 (points may not be right)
Rus - Sean 1000 & Devin 500 vs. Drew 500 & Tom 500(Jeremy2PI)
Parthia - Sean 1000 vs Wayne 1000
Sicilia - Chris 2000 vs Jeremy 500 and Steve 500 (Ross 3 PI)
Dalmatia - Tom 500 and Devin 500 vs. Ross 500
Seemed to be a lot of talk about doing many of these on Sunday. Sean and Drew were going to contact Wayne about fighting on Sunday.
Maybe Chris, Jeremy, and I can do something on Tuesday?

Hey Ross, Drew and Sean.
It's 7:45 and I'm loading up my car to head to triple plan and guess what. My car has a dead flat tire on it.!!!!! Da$# . I do not feel safe driving 4hrs on my spare and will have to take it to the shop to get fixed. Sorry will not be able to make it to the store today.
If any of you want to play against each other in my place I will give a diplomacy point to you. You could have 2 games. I could give a diplomacy point for Sean to play Drew using 1500pts and I would give Drew a diplomacy point for playing Sean at 1000pts.
Ross if you want to jump in just let me know and the points can be yours.
Sorry guys, was really looking forward to this!!
I will call the store at 10 to make sure you get this information.

I'm actually a little relieved by this. I'm still pretty beat from the tourney yesterday.
I'm content to let our battle go to arbitration, Wayne. Perhaps Ross can fill in for you against Sean.
