WFB is alive and well at Triple Play. We now have an 11th player in the campaign. Chris has joined representing a second Empire faction. Perhaps these Empire k-n-i-g-h-t-s know another command besides "Run away! Run away!".
To tighten up things a bit I think that all moves need to be in by 5:00 on Thursdays. You can send them to me ahead of time if you can't make it to the store by then or at all that night. If you have not sent in a move by then, we will randomly generate a move for you.
Also, all battles and contested territories from the prior week need to be resolved by 4:00 on Thursday so we can update the map. If not, then the GM will resolve them in a debatably fair way.

Unresolved conflicts from turn two:
Sarmatia - Steve and Jeremy have 500 point forces there. Drew currently owns it.
Varangia - Drew owns it and left 1000 points to defend it. Brian moved in with 500.
Alemannia - Brian owns it. Devin has 1000 points there and Steve 500. If that proves to be a draw then Tom has 3 PI markers there.
Hibernia - Brian has 500 points there and Jeremy has 1000. Sean owns it currently.
Sicilia - The families have gathered for a massive war. Chuck is there with 2000, Wayne with 2000, Ross with 1000, and Jeremy with 500. Steve owns it and his skinks are glad that they are aquatic.

Turn Three Special Event:
BLOOD LUST – Earn one battle point for every battle you participate in. Earn a second point for a victory. Earn a third point for a massacre.
Tabling your opponent(s) is considered a massacre.

To all the potential owners of Sicilia (Vamps, Dwarfs, and Dark Elf). It doesn't look like I will be able to get over for a game. This Thursday night at 5 is the earliest I can be there this week and that is when turn 3 starts.
I think it is only fair that I give you a chance to surrender the territory, your measly 3500pts of inferior troops are no match for my 2000pts of inexperienced and thus far only-able-to-run backwards forces!
I guess I will have to yield the territory. But we should try to get this battle in at a later date just to see what happens.

Or, put another way Wayne, is Count Chuckula willing to grant a diplomacy point to the Empire so that they will not oppose the vampires acquisition of Sicilia? Otherwise there is a risk of losing it through a drawn combat or some strange ruling by the GM should the battle not take place? (After all does not the GM himself currently control that territory and would he not be inclined to rule in a way that favors his continuation of that control - at least one might argue that to the count)?
Wayne, you might mention to the count that, should you withdraw your forces, it might also give him a fang up in a battle should the dwarfs (1000) and dark elves (500) decide to try to oppose him.
It is all in how one "sells" the situation. (OK and should you get the diplomacy point from Chuck then I should get one from you for negotiating it for you!!)

I'll gladly take a free diplomacy point...I'd even take one and fight on your side Mr. Vampire.

It's a dead man's party. Who could ask for more?
You should give me a Diplomacy Point so that I don't eat you. I imagine undead would have interesting texture... Crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle?

We used the Random Battle Table to decide the remaining turn two battles. Drew and Jeremy gained battle points.
Turn Three Battles Pending:
Wayne (500) vs Drew (500) in Thracia Poofy (2000) vs Jeremy (1000) in Iberia Chuck (2000) vs Tom (1000) and Steve (500) in Gaul
Remember - Battle lust!! This turn. I BP for fighting, 2 for a win, and 3 for a massacre.

Turn 4 (which starts next Thursday, Feb 18th) is HARVEST SEASON. The time has come to send all of your conscripts home to collect whatever your particular race counts as its fall harvest. No force may include any core choices this turn. Character choices still must comply with point requirements. Special and Rare limits are increased by one.
This is the chance to field those armies you only wished you could field!
