Excelent, I want to more 2 votes of confidence before I post this as an official event though.
Also this is to a staff member, do I have to register or do anything special for you guys to keep track of the store credit. Or do the folks playing just need to pay at the cashier?

This is Tony, the de facto "Events Coordinator" for the store. I'll start by saying that the first stop anyone should make when planning an event is: the store calendar! tripleplaynh.com/Events.asp?StartDate=4/1/2013April is currently wide open, but that won't last. So please message me here on the forums as soon as you lock in a date. Some months it won't be this free-form, so make sure you check the calendar when considering dates. Then run it by me to make sure we don't get wires crossed. As far as the store credit, we track all of that in our club account computer system, all you guys need to do is pony up the entry fee! I look forward to hearing from you about a WFB event in the future!

Sorry but I can't commit till I know a date as some of my weekends are taken up. But I will post this info on our FB WFB site and see if anybody might be interested in a little fun. I'm not familiar with that scenario. Could you give a little info on it?

Of course, I'll give you a link to the origenal Warbands special rules and I'll talk about the changes I'm going to make for the tournoment. Oh and I have been thinking of the 27th of April for the day. thekeeponline.com/documents/Warbands.pdfBattlefield: A smaller battlefeild with table dividers, so that we can have battles on 48X48. Deployment: Is different than normal ' A little war'. Round 1 will use map B Round 2 will use Map A Round 3 will use map C Round 4 will use map D Then the players roll off as normal and follow follow the rules of deploying their armies. Who goes first: Same as normal Length of game: 6 turns Special Rules: The players roll for their objectives before the battle and select their objective from a container. If the player has been able to achive the objective they receive +50VP. After the battle and the objectives have been reveiled the paper notes go back into the container for the next battle. Vicory Points will be used for determining the winner. I hope that this answers some of your questions?

Kohbal, bad news. It looks like the 40kers have selected the 23rd for their tournament. Might you still be intested in a week game or march 30th for the big battle?

Alright fantasy players I've got a question. Should the April tournament be a success I'm planning on doing a larger point one in June using full 8th edition rules.
Just to get a consensus who is comfortble at or above 1500 Points?

That's to bad. I work during the week and am working on the 30th. Not sure what your Sundays look like but we play most of our games on Sunday at Quaterstaff Games if your interested in coming this way? Looking forward to your tourney in April!

Bad news yet again, our tournament has to be moved. I'm having it on the 13th on April.
I will also be able to make it up to Quater Staff on Sunday the 31st. I'll be there at noon, green wide brim hat, long brown jacket, can't miss me. Also is it fine if I bring dogs of war and some stuff to proxy? Different mini companys and such?

That will work fine. Just double checked with the store and the schedule hasn't changed for that Sunday so looks like we are good to go.
Dogs of war are fine. I don't mind proxies either. And I know the feeling. I just got 10 reaper werewolves that I plan to use as crypt horrors. With magnetic base for a total cost of $30....vs the $149 at GW for a unit with 1 less guy...screw that!!!....lol I'm pretty easy going when playing games too. Hey if you like dogs of war units I have the original 3rd edition DE Mengils Manhides manflayer unit if your interested. From the early 90's

How much are you willing to let them go for and are they painted?

Let me dig them out and see how many I still have. Took me for ever to find the mini's in the collectors guide. They are from the 3rd edition. I also have about 10 or so 2nd/3rd edition cold one riders. And yeah their painted but being metal you could strip them easy. Paint job on them is pretty crappy.....They were from when I was just strating painting.....It's funny pulling out stuff from way back when and comparing them to what I paint today....Look like crap back then...lol

The cold ones I can pass on, though thanks for offering them I know the feeling on painting as well. My old empire has been... repainted and the dwarfs need a few touch ups.
