if you want ill try and find time for a 1250 point game some time soon. not sure which army, probably the first one to hand on the day i go out the door, im putting together a hellpit abom for my skaven so im actually slowly doing some modeling.

I'd like to play some games. I've been away from the hobby for a while so i need a week or two to gather my gobbo clan for battle. I've never played warband/skirmish (6ed rule?) before so I'd be interested in that too.

Hey thanks, I play Empire, Dwarfs and Chaos Dwarfs on occasion, I also don't mind the wait.

Warbands is a 6th ed supplemeant for 500 point battles. The rules are a little outdated because of how the army selection changed, here are some guidelines though if your intrested in creating some army lists for it. The actual rules arn't that hard to find online either.

Instead of selecting a hero you may instead select a commander model from one of your units as your general. This cannot be a named hero.
You may only select one warmachine.

Lords-0

Heroes 0-1/Up to 25%of army allowence
Core/Must be at least 25% of Army allowence
Special/ up to 50% of your army allowence
Rare/ one rare choice/ up to 25% of your army allowence

Hey yeah that sounds fun. i think I remember seeing the skirmish rules in the back of the 6th ed book and I found a pdf online too. I would love to play. Really anytime works for me. I just started a NG army so I don't have my guys put together yet.

if you want to get a game sooner rather than later and if you are willing to let me borrow 500 points of CD i'd play with you... never got a chance to play as Chaos Dwarfs before so it would be a special treat for me.

Well to tell you the truth I proxy out my CD with the regular dwarfs though I'm working on some conversions. Also the CD are really,and I mean this truthfully, really not suited to be played with 500 points, a thousand points is the lowest that one can go, though they have some serious game stomping potential.

Though I have plenty of night goblins you can barrow... like several hundred.

Hey welcome to the forum. I'm up for a 2,500-3,000 point game, is Feburary 2 okay with you? Its a Saturday and the store is open a fullday, not to mention I don't think there will be any tournoments going on at that time.
