Only tacs? Or all power armoured marines?

Only power amour infantry that didn't buy dedicated transports.
Everyone else (terminators, bikes, jump infantry, scouts..... everything else) just loses combat tactics with no gain.
But like I said I would have to build stuff. I just wanted to ask Droofus if it was usable in our tournaments.

So devs, sternguard, vanguard vets, and command squads? That sounds like the old cheese flavor from the last spafe marine dex.

Ahazra doesn't unlock a command or a honour squad and I wasn't planning on fielding them anyways. Vangaurd only without jump packs which is just wierd.
So tacticals, sternguard, and devastator so no assault just shooting. If you can't handle shooting then your really playing the wrong edition.
Not that it matters, I expect planes to be ROFLcoptering around until GW fixes the game. That might be my list if I cant finish by saturday.

Im not really complaining. Just pointing out the likeness to an old way to build the marines that mostly emeveryone in tournies played. If you dont think there is a problem with infultrating melta guns then you sir are blind.

I wanted to play something new besides Knights. My eldar and Tau really havent changed much in 6th. And I wanted to not play boxes and or bad guys so I went with a inflitrating infantry list. The guy I want to build around really isn't a power house character, he just has a lot of awesome support rules.
I do miss the days when you had doctrines and not special character taxes though. There where so many more combinations.... even if some of them where pretty bad.
Oh yeah thanks for hiding that foam tray for me, the next time I went to play I realized I was missing half my army.

Crusade will be five objectives. Good call. There will be enough randomness with the objectives being mysterious.

Drew is there anyway to convince you not to allow Mysterious Objectives? If not I understand.
Although if people are excited for the mysterious objectives I say lets do eet. I personally refuse all the mysterious things in most of my casual games. But a local tournament is about a bunch of people getting together for fun ^.^. If fun is random, then lets bring it on!

I am for mysterious objectives 1) cause they are part of the new rules and 2) the possibility of a skyfire nexus might be key in our games versus fliers.

Thats a good point, in our games the mysterious usually end up exploding but a skyfire nexus could bring some balance to the table.

I did write up a reply but decided to wait and hear what other people said. I would like to point out that it's my understanding only scoring units can gain benefit from the mysterious objectives. Am I wrong about this?

That's a bingo! on having to be scoring to gain the benefit.
Although on the plus side the exploding one doesn't discriminate like that. Its a very open minded bomb.

If that was a facebook post, I would press the "like" button. BTW I am ok with forgeworld librarian hitting the table with some nilla marines.

I have to agree with Ross on this one Chris I "like" your post . Open minded bombs are my favorite kind.
