1. Only use mundane items on your army general. No magic items. Unless hes required , or gets them as standard equipment.

2. Go the whole way if you dare. No magic items on any of your characters. Just standard gear.

Yup, anything thats not a standard piece of mundane equipment.

Like warhorses, greatweapons, etc..
