40K 1850pt Tournament Sat. Oct 23rd!

What: Warhammer 40K Tournament. 1850pts!

Where: Triple Play!

When: Saturday October 23rd. Starting at 10:30AM sharp!

Who: Run by myself. If we end up with an odd number, I will sit out.

Why: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their plastic space men.

How: Three 2-hour rounds, with a brief lunch break after the first round. Entry fee is $10.00, which will go towards store credit prizes for Top 3. In addition, 10 dollars will be set aside as a reward to whoever is voted as Favorite Player by his peers. Each player must be able to provide me, the tournament organizer, with a written army list that plainly shows all options, wargear, and point totals. Prepare another copy in case your opponents want to see it during the course of the game.

Etc: Sportsmanship and fair play is a very important part of this game, and in building our local 40k community. As such, any inappropriate behavior during the tournament will result in disqualification with no refund of entry fees.

Speaking of which, anyone have any chaos space marine minis for sale or trade (I have crons, tons of imperials, and fantasy). I am looking for unpainted or primed models especially as it has to be painted to a very high quality.

Antonin is hooking me up with some stuff and I plan on buying the battleforce but I need some more for the 1850. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm going to re-emphasize that I want printed army lists for every person!

I know most of you guys have Army Builder, so there's no excuse for handing me a crumpled piece of notebook paper with chickenscratch on it.

im getting to the point that i wish tournaments required you to turn in your army list a week before, so you didnt know who you would be facing, or what the possible scenarios are going to be.

forces you to design a decent all comers army list that can deal with the winds of change.
