Bah, you'll all just fold under the might of the eldar, so you might as well just give up now.
As a side note, Ben you said earlyer that Dreadnaughts would be the haevist thing we'd come up against, but i'd like to point out that they have a total armour of 46, so I think the heavist thing will be a devilfish, or a chimira.

I was just wondering if you knew what sized table we'd be playing on. A bunch of us played some test lists this last weekend, and the question came up as to if we would be useing a 6x4 or a 4x4 table.

THe first week will start as planned on June 7th. THe week will end on sundays. So the first week you have 2 extra days to play your games.
So week 1 will end on June 15th and so on .

Until were past 800 pts 4x4. THe first week will start as planned on June 7th. THe week will end on sundays. So the first week you have 2 extra days to play your games. So week 1 will end on June 15th and so on . Is there actually a tournament this Saturday (the 7th)? It says so on the front page calendar... Just wondering if I should bring my league list on Saturday. |

THere is a tourney. But if you wanna bring your league lists to play between rounds thats fine. 500 pt games dont take long.
The first mission will be up by this weekend, as will the results reporting forum.
We will keep using this one as the general chat area for the league.
And yes poofy, you can use credit.
Side note. My 500 pts are done and painted. Im using the new demon list.

On a long forgotten planet the Imperium had classed as Acherus VI an Imperial Expeditonary Mining Crew crew has made a curious discovery...
" Why in the name of the Throne has work stopped!!" shouted the burly foreman, pushing his way through the mob of crowded diggers.
"Dunno boss, seems we've hit something funny" said one of his crew.
"Whaddya mean funny?" "If you can't dig through it, blast it!! " he exclaimed.
" It might be valuable " said one of the men. "Seems like some kind of sculpture"
"Well .... dig around it, uncover the whole thing and we'll see"
Soon after.....
THe structure stood about 8 feet tall. It was a curved off white edifice lined with round smooth gems speced every couple feet of its length.
The foremen scratched his head .
"Well hell....can we try and move it? "
Even with a dozen men, the object seemed immovable.
Exasperated, the foremen sighed..."Can we at least pry the gems out of the damned thing?" "Wilkins , hop to it!!! "
Wilkins spit angrily, picked up his crowbar and stepped up to it,
Straining he pressed his whole body into the structure for added leverage.
Surprised suddenly, he dropped his crowbar.
"BOSS!!!!, its pulsing....and warm!!!!!.....and...it's speaking ...
He leaned over to listen closer. When his head came back up his eyes were glazed over and black....
He spoke and it was with a voice full of contempt, and utterly alien.
"Foolish monkeigh, None shall know the secrets of the ancients. "
"The Black Library is not for the minds of mere humans, this gateway is shut to you ... "
"Now... DIIIIIIIE! "
And with that the no longer human creature, opened it's mind and blasted the poor men into the air like rag dolls. It tossed the corpses thru the air until the psychic strain became to much, and it's head exploded with a sickening pop.
The groups astropath had just enought time to start composing a warning message back to Terra, when the creatures mental assault turned his warning into a psychic scream that reverberated thru every nearby system. Telling all beings with any kind of psychic ability what had transpired.
So .. it begins in every nearby system armies ready to rush to the planet to either seal, destroy or exploit an entrance to the fabled Eldar Black Library. The greatest repository of knowledge in the universe. While their larger forces prepare, small scouting forces rush out to stake their claim.
Week 1
PHASE 1
"Planetfall"
MIssion 1 "Blacker than pitch"
Scouting forces begin landing on the planet. With no time to spare they land in darkness... IN the pitch black two forces walk into each other.
TAKE AND HOLD Alpha

All rules apply, except its most scoring units within 6 inches of the center for victory. Not 12 inches. And its played on a 4x4 board. Also Night Fight is in effect for the first 4 turns.
