Yea , I figured thats what you meant.
Also , one rather large disclaimer!!!!!
NO ORDNANCE TILL WERE PAST 800 PTS.
Since theres so many marine armies I may have to abandon my space wolf army for the moment and build somethingnew... HMMMMMM......tau, necrons, demons.....maybe bugs......
TO the painting desk!!!! To speed paint like never before!!!!
Also , come on now... What self respecting sisters of battle player really needs exorcists???
Faith in the Emperor and a good bra , and you should be fine.
So as it stands now
Brian Ben Poofy Devin Tom Ethan
I have a few more interested to. Get the word out.

I say you do tau, as they seem to not be represented.
Also, on a side note. I hate you ben. I wanted to use a looted wagon with a boom gun. So, with the rules you have layed down, I can't use boomgun battlewagon Warboss
You just don't like me very much do you?
I guess I will have to come up with something else with the models you have.

So what happens if you miss a couple of weeks due to vacation and whatnot? I'm going away for a fortnight in June. Will that mean I'm out of the league or that I'll just need to play tons of 3 game weeks to make up for it when I get back?

I can't use any characters... or tanks. I win poofy.
Also, Ben, anything but necrons. Power armor is over represented.

I can't use any characters... or tanks. I win poofy. You have 6 terminators, so I still win. The only tanks I can use are trukks, and looted wagons with skorchas.

Unfortunately, with this becoming more and more like combat patrol every time Ben posts, I'm sure those termis will soon become more Noise Marines.

Also , one rather large disclaimer!!!!! NO ORDNANCE TILL WERE PAST 800 PTS. Not even whirlwinds? You've made me a very sad Flesh Tearer. I'm in too by the way. This is Drew, in case you were wondering

Well, Ben, you have managed to generate some discussion on this forum at least. Unfotunately that discussion is all directed against your league management skills. Gamers do appreciate having a common enemy or scapegoat.
I also am interested in your response to Necron Tom (um, Space Marine Tom who until recently was called Necron Tom) about time missed. I am not sure I can commit to a game a week but I think I can average a game a week.

;D I wouldn't worry too much Ben. We just like to whine. We're 40k players after all... So what happens if you miss a couple of weeks due to vacation and whatnot? I'm going away for a fortnight in June. Will that mean I'm out of the league or that I'll just need to play tons of 3 game weeks to make up for it when I get back? Ethan and I will be visiting you at some point, right? So we can get those games in then. Just bring your Iron Hands stuff with you. What better way to spend vacation time then playing 40k? I didn't see any prohibition about playing games off-site if you have to. So long as both players are in the league and report the same result, it shouldn't be a problem. Ben can correct me if I'm wrong...

Count me in. I will start with Demonhunters and switch to Marines/Demonhunters as the points go up.

I think that the off site gaming thing could work for my situation. We're all trustworthy I think. Well most of us. You know what you did!
Books count as hills, and Pop Tart boxes are buildings. I hope the rental has a table big enough.
Another thing, will there be a comprehensive rules list put up somewhere? I'm sure that would help clear up any confusion as to what is allowed in the armies at varying point levels...

Okay. Here's the deal.
Yes, you can switch armies. But once we start , no switching.
You are not required to play every week. Play when you want. But if you miss a week you miss the points.
And bear in mind , all these annoying little restrtictions are just for the first few weeks. Once were past 800 pts, you can use whatever you want.
And yea, no 2+ saves till were past 800 pts either. IN YOUR EYE DEVIN!
The reason for all this is the first few weeks are a scouting engagement, while the armies wait for their reinforcements to arrive.
Stay tuned Ill post the first scenario soon. Glad to see we got plenty of people.
Keep the questions coming.
So for now, the initial rules.
no 2 + saves
no ordanance
nothing with more than 2 wounds.
nothing with a combined AV bigger than 44.
no hq required
one core required.
I am trying to keep this as uncheesy as possible. If I feel ppl are being ridiculous with their army lists. Ill feel free to impose more restrictions.
I want this to be fun though.
A notation will e made next to your name in the triple play computer when you pay the $5 entrance fee. You will not be eligible for prizes if you dont pay. All entrance fees go to prizes. You also arent eligible for 20 % off until you pay the fee.
And yes , you dont have to play here. But we encourage it, it looks good for business!!!!
