2012 CANPOCALYPSE FOOD DRIVE

What's all this, then?: An Apocalypse mega-battle at Triple Play on Sunday, November 18th! Store opens at 10:00am, so let's try and get started as early as possible.

How do I join the party?: Basic entry fee is 3 cans of (unexpired) food, which will be donated to a local food pantry.

What if I want to give more?: You can! Look below this post for a list of benefits you can gain in the mega-battle by donating additional food.

What's in it for me?: Well, aside from helping your fellow man in the holiday season, there will be a special prize for the winner(s).

How do I make army?: Each player gets an 2000pt list for basic entry from a single 40k Codex of their choice. Must be a legal list using basic Force Organization.

I have so much food! Please take it?: Here is a list of the extra bonuses you can earn if you donate extra cans to the cause.

THESE "UNLOCK" THEIR RESPECTIVE BENEFITS, YOU MUST STILL PAY THE POINTS COST!

1 CAN (PER CHOICE)
*One unit from another Codex

*One Apocalypse Datasheet unit (these can be found in the apocalypse books, or on GW's website)

*One Apocalypse Stratagem point

2 CANS
*You may ignore the Force Organization requirements

*You may have an additional 200pts (This may be taken multiple times, 2 cans per 200pts)

3 CANS
*You may take a super-heavy vehicle

Seeing as how Apocalypse was originally written for 4th edition, the rules as stated above will be the way this event is handled. IE: NO FREE ALLIES

So if I choose to bring four can's and can use one unit from another codex and it's a core unit, does that count towards the minium of core I need to take?

No. The min requirements (1 hq, 2 troops) must come from the same codex.
