Thanks Tony and Drew for organizing!
And thanks to Dan, Drew, and Chris for a fun afternoon. For those not there today, my oldest son Ethan showed up for an hour or so and got to see Drew's Stompa which he can't stop talking about. He was beside himself when he had to go, but the event made an impression... He was walking around the house pretending to be a stompa.
... that said I want to cruse Gazgul for yet again crushing the best close combat units I can muster...

Your welcomed, it was a fun event with lots of laughs and some crazy experiences like the Cultists getting killed, Marbo wiping out an entire broadside group, the stompa surviving as long as it did and *Holds fist up to the sky* Curse you Sieze!

I think the next step is for his Dad to start an Ork army and build a stompa with him. ;D That and the fact that 8 meltabombs and 3 thunder hammer attacks managed to do two structure points to the Stompa. In all seriousness, it was a great time guys! I actually prefer smaller apocalypse games like the one we did yesterday. My note to myself is to always take "replacements" on my Stompa. |
