That is awesome. I especially love the reaction-fire rule. It gives shooty armies a chance and gives a benefit to having a high initiative. I think we could probably rig up some suitable terrain. In fact, think Tony already has some I'd definitely be down for trying these rule out.

I like the idea, what point values would we be going for?

They seem to indicate that 1000 on a 4x4 is about right. I bet 500 points would work on a 3x3 setup. Great to get folks with small armies involved in some fast, action packed games.
I like the enemy unknown rule for that real Space Hulk kind of feel.

I agree with those point ranges I think 750 might be a good starting point to test it out.

This sounds intresting. I've not many of my IG painted yet nor the tanks, but I do have enough for a 500 point game.

I think the Bronze Legion needs to do a squad of tacticals as boarding Marines with Hoplite shields as boarding shields.

I have had that thought many times myself... if only the bitz were a bit cheaper.

i'd be willing to chip in some money if others are interested and pick up the big set of the terrain for the store.

The big set of terrain they advertise only covers a 2'x2' square for ~$144. To do a 4'x4' board we'd be looking at $567 and that doesn't include any blast doors or other accessories they may offer. A 3'x3' is probably the smallest possible gaming area and would run $328. So that's 7 people at $47 or 11 at $30. I'll go in on it too if there's enough support. Maybe we can get together some weekend when it warms up and put on a bikini carwash to raise money. I'm considering picking up a 3'x3' worth of the terrain on my own regardless. After running the numbers on competing kits and the materials and time for a DIY project, Forgeworld is actually offering a pretty good value despite the price tag. I want to run boarding missions with my BFG games.

I'm disappointed no one wanted to do the bikini car wash with me.
In any case, I'm going to be at the store this Saturday with 500 points of Marines and Corsairs and 3x3' of tiles to get some quick test games of Zone Mortalis in if anyone's interested.

Oh lame! I forgot about that.
I gotta go play army the following weekend and we have the tournament the weekend after. No biggie. It'll give me some time to get them painted.
