How about the fact that you cam take a death company dread in a drop pod? Actually you can take 2 of them lol. With 80pts. Left over.

Technically speaking the GK codex would be completely out. No psykers. All GK units are psykers or require. Psykers too use (all inquisitors are psykers)

You could take one and 5 death company. But somehow I'm not concerned that someone is going to ruin the game with all those uncontrollable models. ;D Actually, if you read the link I posted up, it says that psykers may be used. They just can't use their powers.

Which would make them foolish too use, since I'm paying for the powers / force weapon. It would be like an Orc player paying twice for each boy he fielded
Also note that C:GK is not on the accepted list. Clearly since it wasn't out yet. And as such weren't considered when making the rules

Drew in the think you posted it said you ignore anylist requirements. So no need to take ten dc to get two dreads.

As usual, adepticon has thought of (mostly) everything ;D www.adepticon.org/11rules/2011cp.pdfThese rules sound good... you get to field your grey knights, but you can't use their powers. A maximum of two ravagers could be fielded. It also allows people to actually field Daemons. EDIT: The only thing I worry about being OPed under this ruleset are wraiths, and that's probably because Ross just beat the snot out of me with them. the fact that any ravagers can be fielded is not ok in my book- they just hang back with disintegrators and kill your whole army.

also technically I think all the barges are still legal (my argument will get shot down quick)because quantum shields are counts as not actual armor value. seriously just not allow vehicles.

Sterling Archer: Nah, it said you can ignore mandatory units. To me that means units like Tau firewarriors or commanders which have the 1+ designation. I.E. units that are mandatory to take in every list. All other restrictions apply. ross and Mark: I get that you have some reservations about these restrictions. That's understandable. Any restrictions by definition mess with the balance of the game. The earliest I'll be running this will be at the beginning of April. How about we try these rules out in a few casual games before then?

I'm down for some friendly games too try it out sure. Though the more I look at it the more I feel it totally screws C:GK. Just my y opinion, and I'm but one of many so even if it means I'd be sitting one out, life moves on
