So each member can only take one hq Blasted Space Wolves... that does throw a wrench into things.. How have other team tourneys that shared a force org chart solve that problem? It's not really a problem, space wolves get two hqs for each slot so that would mean I get two instead of 4, same rules of individuality apply. |

Running two 1500 point armies is different than running one 3000 point army. Necron Lords need to join a unit of Harlequins with Eldrad attached, and that won't happen with just ONE army.  Edit: Ohhh! Destroyer Lords joining a Jetbike Seer Council with Eldrad following in a Falcon!!! AAAAAAAN Scoring Wraithguard! ANNNND Wraithlords with Tomb Spyder pets! Hey, just wanted to clear something up. This was asked a couple times by some folks (none of you guys, but it's better to post about it)
Since this is a shared force org, unique characters are still unique. If there's a team of Space Wolf players, only one of them can take Logan Grimnar, but they both benefit from him unlocking Wolf Guard as troops. Make sense?

Good to know I'm not just blowing smoke ;D I've had a few more questions pop up, namely Fateweaver, and his ability to allow "friendly" models to benefit from his re-roll failed saves. Granted, there are other global effects along a similar line that affect "friendly" models or models of a specific race/faction (The Sanguinor, certain Eldar powers, etc) and I'm still trying to figure out what "friendly models" means in terms of group play. Opinions are welcomed on this. |

The best way imo is that no matter what it says, global effects only affect models from the same codex. So fateweaver would only make demons re-roll the saves and sanguinor would only give the extra attack to other blood angel units.

In another instance then, if someone takes Vulkan and trades Chapter Tactics for his ability, would it not be expected then that said person's partner has that option as well? |
