The Friday Night magic tournaments are now finally being sanctioned again. Yes I finally got off my ares and started taking the 2 minutes to actually sanction an event ahead of time. Currently we are getting WPN support and using the WPN Promo cards as door prizes. Entry fee is 5 dollars for constructed and 17 dollars for draft.
I am the Judge and TO so send requests for the format to me or tell me directly. I will try to post in this thread what an events format will be every Friday a week before that event.

Ok so this week I fail at the weeks warning on the Event format. This weeks FNM will be Draft probably Scars of Mirrodin/Scars of Mirrodin/Mirrodin Besieged or Scars of Mirrodin/Mirrodin Besieged/Mirrodin Besieged Draft will determine exactly what boosters people will be buying at the store this weekend.
After this event I will try to have the exact format specified and costs put into my posts just for ease of getting the information.

How often do you think you'll be switching to something like Standard Constructed? I'm not a fan of drafts, but do like playing in tournaments that I have pre-made decks for.

Sounds good. I'm also officially a rules advisor as well. Haven't been wanting to go judge to actually get the L1. but i'll help out with anything when i can. Glad to see we'll get sanctioned and that we'll actually start putting up results. Perhaps this will attract customers and we can grow as a community and play a lot of good magic. LMK if you need any help with anything. and we should convince the store to start gathering singles for magic and selling them at competitive prices. Hopefully this will also push the costs of drafts down and perhaps we could try raising the prices of standard tournaments if they get bigger to offer better pools of prizes ("4 jace" tourneys or the like.) would be a lot of fun like that.

Currently I run what the desired format is. Last week was a Standard and this week they wanted Draft. As I said keep an eye on this thread as I will try to keep it updated with the next format so you can join in for the formats you want.
@tezz I will let you know if I need help, thanks for the offer.

FNM for 2011-03-25 will be Standard and the entry fee will be 5 dollars.

Either Draft or Standard. More likely Standard

I assumed it would be one of the two, I was just curious which it was. I'm not that interested in doing draft right now, but do have a standard worthy deck I'd like to play sometime.
