First time playing the weedy zogger - 5 pts
no extra bonus points.
Giant highlight o' the week - Giant catching cannonballs. Yuck.
Week total - 16 pts.

Marginal Victory -11 pts
bonus point for using named character - 1 pt
Week Total - 12 pts.
Giant Highlight o' the week - Giant is killed in close combat, falls, and crushes Grimgor smush. Yup, scatter dice on the fall, wounded him, failed saves, and caused 3 wounds of d3. Cant' argue with those dice. Worst part - brought it down to a marginal victory....

I think 117 will be my final score in the league (see my updated post on page 1 of this thread). I won't make it to the store tonight and we leave on Friday to visit the Mouse and don't return until Nov 1st. I think the league ends Nov 2nd?? The league was great fun. Hopefully it helped to rekindle some interest in Fantasy at the store. We should plan something for the winter (after the holidays) to keep the momentum the league has built up.
Of course, I cheezed my way into (momentary) contention for first in the league through quantity (playing every extra game I could and running up about as many points as possible in first time opponents) rather then quality (I went 1-4-1 in my official league games). But, then again, what would one expect from a lizard?? (Oh, and we also sell car and motorcycle insurance as a sideline if you are interested.)

People were asking tonight if we could keep the league going for one more week tonight.
So they could catch up their games they were missing. I dont know if this seems fair.
Your thoughts? I could care less, but I dont want people being upset who showed up for all their games.

It won't matter to me since I am going to be away but I thought that we said at the beginning that we would end the league on Nov 2nd, thus giving everyone an extra week to get in their games.
UPDATE: I just checked the threads and the official league ending date was established by zorbag as Nov 2nd. That post was back on Sept. 3rd.

Indeed, all games done by Nov 2. You then have one week till Nov 9 to update all results. I will then total, and announce the winner.

I can maybe make it in Nov 2 for one more day of games, but I don't think I'll get all 7 games in. It's ok, I originally entered the league resigned to the fact that I wouldn't be in contention for the win due to me not making it in every weekend. Extending the deadline a week wouldn't help me as I can't game that next weekend due to family commitments.
So I'm going to try and convince my wife that I need to get down there on Nov 1st or 2nd to get as many league games in as possible.
It was a lot of fun and I would like to tip my hat to those that I gamed against, good sports all of them.
