So i've been reading a lot about the grey knights lately, and I've heard about them getting 2+/2+, FNP 2W terminators for like 900+ points for a unit. Would you pay that? I'm thinking HELL YES!
Here's why: @1750 points some of you are thinking its one unit we can just ignore it get in your razorback and zoom away... but I don't think its about what that unit can kill but what it can Deny.
Capture and Control...
850 pnts of cheaper units camping on your objective and just marching 900pnts of terminators across the board to contest your opponents objective. You can’t stop it, and you can’t run away from it because all its looking to do is just move onto and park on your objective. Little oversimplified, but can you see what I’m thinking?
Seize ground... Cluster as many objectives as you can, making a nice little block like assault armies like to do. Use your 850 points to hold a lone objective, and then park the terminator block on the clustered objective contesting all of it.
Is the real strength of the uber terminators going to be all about area denial? Who knows... what are you guys thinking?

The part your forgetting, is that if you take a greand master (why wouldent you?) you can make that unit scoring. Or that the named supreme grand master makes them troops

Post deleted. Let's try and keep things a bit more civil here.
Mark's post will stay because he was slightly more tactful.

If that's true, I can't wait to see how ridiculous Necrons are if/when they're redone.
Anybody remember the 2nd edition Warriors, 44 points each?
