Entry Fee $ 10
1500 point army list from either Afrika or Ostfront. Must be a legal list from one of those two books. Only one company, no multiple company lists. Bring two copies of your army list - one for yourself and one to hand in when you register.
Store opens at 10AM.so you can get, get your paperwork done, and get your army ready. First round starts by 10:30.
Three rounds with 2 ½ hours per round. At least 30 minutes between rounds. Don’t want to be a grouch on this but we need to get three rounds in and not keep folks there forever. Early recon reports indicate that there may be a lot of armor coming so maybe some games will be shorter.
MISSIONS – In each round, everyone will play the same mission. First round is Encounter. Second round is Free-For-All. Third round is Breakthrough.
SCORING – As per Victory Points on page 195 of the HCRB. Note that the first two missions use the Fair Fight special rule (also page 195 of the HCRB).
MATCHUPS – First round will be random, trying to match an allied player against an axis player. Other two rounds will be first vs. second, third vs. fourth, etc (provided they haven’t already played each other).
PRIZES - Four prizes:
Best General – Based on total Victory Points from all three games. Tie breaker will be Sportsmanship points, see below)
Best Army – After Round 1, leave your army displayed on the table for a “dress parade”. Everyone will vote their choice for the three best Armies. Voting should be based on painting, basing, and overall theme and appearance. High score wins.
Best Sport – Each round you will rate you opponent based on sportsmanship. Remember – your opponent should not be marked down for YOUR inability to roll dice or for having a better knowledge of the rules then you do!! High total score wins.
Random Drawing – Just what it says. So, those of us who only see 6’s when our opponent is rolling can still look forward to a chance at something!
Only one prize per person.
