Looking at a little break before sunday's Big Game:
From Steve's email:
Bring an 800 point force on Friday and we will do some quick, fun games. At this level you only need an HQ and one combat platoon instead of the usual two combat platoons to make a legal force.
Brad - if your friends are interested in coming on Friday this will give them a chance to experience the game better then watching us slowly attack fortifications. We can pair them up with a couple of us to get a taste of the game. [glow=red,2,300]We could even whip up a couple of extra 800 point armies if they want to try it on their own.[/glow]

I haven't been to the store in forever......and I haven't played FOW in, well, longer than forever. But if the snow holds off this Friday I plan to make the long trip from the deep woods of New York to visit the "Friday FOW night".
Old Steve has assured me that your veteran armies will have no problem destroying my recruits. Even better would be if I could "team" up with someone and help you in a game (because I really have forgotten most of the rules).
Looking forward to meeting some of you that I don't know.

And another note wayne, I dont know how long it has been since your last appearance but If I have heard correctly the store may have moved from where it was when you were last here.

I could rock another sherman company if any one needs it or wants to try some US Armor.
I assume we will be playing on 4ft x 3ft boards?
It would be nice to have a good strong showing for friday night.

old steve and I usually get there around 3ish most others start to show up around 530pm we like to start playing by 630 ish. I think thats the norm, Though I have only been playing with these guys a couple of months.

Hmmm... how does one respond to that?
Well, in my military days I did have an Arabic alias - I was Adnan Ibin Hayyar then - so I guess I could be Omar now.
And, in the scheme of WWII characters I guess Bradley is OK. At least Will is not suggesting Adolph, or Uncle Joe, or Hermann, or Heinrich.
