First mob of grotsmen is finished! Once again, the photography makes them look kind of wonderful, but I'm very happy with how they turned out in person.

Yo dawg I heard you like chipped paint and skulls, so we PIMP'D YO RIDE! I finished the Chimera that my Weirdlings (night gobbo sanctioned psykers) will be riding in! I'm really happy with how it turned out. The command squad's Chimera is mostly finished converted, I think that will be the next one to be painted. I also plan on Orkifying my Vendetta soon! And I picked up another Sentinel which will be undergoing Squification. Whew, my queue is growing. But I'm pretty happy that I'm staying on top of this army before it grows out of control.

/\/\/\ Those are some chaosy gobbos to decorate a chimera like that. /\ /\ /\
I would have given you bonus points if you had used the ork skulls from the ork boy set instead of 'umie skulls. After all who would grotz be more proud of killing? A bunch of weedy 'umies? Or da boyz dat used ta lord it over dem?
I 'xpect you'll do the right ting wiff ork skulls next time.
(note my devolution into Ork-speak)

At the same time I converted this up, I made the command squad's Chimera, which features Ork heads on spikes. One of the Weirdlings is holding out the Orc skull from the WFB Boyz, and another has a different Orc skull on his banner (you probably cant see them because my camera hates taking pictures of grey plastic). They're insane psyker night goblins. The others aren't going to be so chaosy, but I felt it fit them.

Though I do try to avoid eating corn before giving feedback though, as even I have my limits. That said, I realize I didn't give you props on is the free-hand bad moons symbol on the front of the chimera. Also, I want a close up of the psyker gobbo holding the skull up. That just sounds awesome.

Kernul Grotslag, my company commander, is complete! This is easily one of my favorite conversions I've ever done, right up there with Tinkernutz II, my looted Carnifex, and scratchbuilt plasticard looted Deff-iluh. FUN FACT: The glyph on his shoulder pad is the Ork symbol for "slave, servant, grot" SKRAGA: the symbol for "veteran" also a hash mark indicator of all da bossez e's krumped. The blue my grots are wearing are a result of his former position as the Big Mek's right-hand grot rigger. His bosspole trophy collection features a Bad Moon, a Goff, and an Evil Sunz, and he's in the process of collecting a trophy from a Snakebite

Oh. My. God.
Orkdom (or should I say "GROTdom" just reached a high water mark. Everything that is awesome about a Grot army is summed up by this model. You have your centerpiece.
Well done!

Thanks, man. You had me faked out on fb chat by saying "there's nothing i DISLIKE", which was some kind of anti-compliment haha.

Now of course when you field him against an Orc list your obligated to throw his squad against the nobs and/warboss. Otherwise is become fail

hes a grot, so basically he waits for the artillery to knock em down, and then he jumps on and starts tickling.
