Steve Hier aka Vintage Steve
I work for the school district in Springfield, Vt and live in Weathersfield (Ascutney), Vt.
Been playing since, hmmm, well, since just before the Version Two rulebook came out. Jeremy and I are the only remaining active players from the group of six of us who started the group at the store. What, maybe six years ago or so?
What army do I play? Take a deep breath... I have Finns (my real army of preference but one I do not play very often), Soviets (way too much including massed infantry or armor and bit of Cossacks and Naval Infantry), Germans (DAK, Fallshirmjaegers, 78 Sturm Division - my second army of preference - and assorted other stuff), and Italians (North Africa) with a smattering of unmarked German tanks that can be used as German, Romanian, or Hungarian. Oh, and and just the beginnings of a British desert force.
I am a Scorpio. My favorite color is green. I like rainbows, unicorns, and long walks on the....... oops!, wrong site!

My name is Jeremy and I've been a Flames of War junkie since 2005. I'm the produce manager for Shaw's in Newport, NH and I'm one of the owners of Triple Play. I play both Americans and Germans and I'll run any list from infantry, to mech to tank.

OK this seems like an appropriate thread for me to make my FIRST POST.
I work for Dartmouth and am the director of their book publishing operation. My office is on the green in Lebanon just twenty steps from the old Triple Play. I got hooked on FOW when Jonas was nine months old. Now figure that one out.
I have been playing a lot of British Paratroopers lately. Mostly because their infantry ain't scared of no tanks. I also play DAK and Western Front Germans, and some generic Americans who haven't figured out who they are yet. I'm not a great player but it's fun and I enjoy the interaction a lot (as opposed to sitting in front of a video game).
I also have a lot in common with the Old Spice guy. Look at me, now look at yourself. Then back to me. I am on a horse.

Hi my name is Temis de la Pena "Aka" KV1e
I have held off doing a profile because it seemed sort of silly in a small group like ours but when Mike broke his self imposed exile to post I decided why the Hell not .
I have been playing FOW for almost exactly three years. I learned at a Demo here at triple play. I Knew about FOW for years and used to wander into TPlay from time to time and leaf thought the rule book, but I think the price tag always scared me off.
In any case I have LW American army which could be probably used for MW too. MW and LW British (sort of an odd conglomeration mostly MW except I have a fair number of LW tanks). Lots of Russians both MW and Lw. A lot of German mostly MW but enough panthers and tigers that I could make a good LW army too. And, Oh yes. a small Italian force.
For what it's worth I also have FOW Vietnam armies(American and NVA) but they are 20mm. I live in West Lebanon

Hi, I am Will. I play with either a German Panzer or Infantry company. I like to play with king tigers in most of my list. Temis fears my King tigers as much as I fear his Croc's. My German army is painted in a desert scheme. I think at last count I have close to Two grand invested in my German Late war army. I work for the Town of Enfield Public Works department. I have many duties with the town. I am the supervisor for the Ground's, Cemetery and Building department's. I am the Town Sexton overseeing 16 Town Cemeteries. Which involves burial's, and selling of cemetery lots. I work for the Town of Enfield Highway department during the winter months. I work a main plow route with the town. It seems my plow truck has been my second home. I also manage the Highway department computer work order and inventory system . My office desk is a complete disaster zone. I have also been building a civil war 15 mm Union Army. I think with my latest order arrival. I will have the Original Steve's Confederate army out gun on all fronts. I also have been a regular player every night with an online civil war game. Link:http://www.scourgeofwar.com/index.shtml We play a campaign version of the multiplayer game. You create a Union and Southern Division. You play your Divisions and gain experience in battles. You control all aspects of the units that come to battle. Link to our campaign website:http://www.sow.philipmcg.com/c/platte/php/ui.php?function=view_download My player ID is Shoey109. You can look at my two divisions and all the battles we have fought in the campaign from this link. We use Teamspeak to communicate in battles. We host at least two games a night. The most players we have had in a battle was 16. That is around 60k in troops. I have been one of the two primary host. I have fought in 58 battles during this campaign. We had a bloody battle over Culps hill last night. So come online and check the game out. Most of the core players meet every night in Teamspeak before playing a battle. We kick off the first game every night around 6 pm. The campaign link has the information in entering our teamspeak room and plus the password. I will just post it here: Teamspeak is a voice communication program which we used to arrange our battles and to communicate during the battles. It is highly recommended that you use teamspeak when playing. You can download Teamspeak three at www.teamspeak.com. Server Information We currently use this Teamspeak three Server: IP: ts55.gameservers.com Port: 9227 Password: FGsMA123!!
