This Wednesday's games are open to suggestion. I know that Chuck mentioned El Grande...other than that no one has made any specific requests. Some to consider: Le Havre, Merchants and Mauraders, Cyclades, Thurn and Taxis, Power Grid, Mare Nostrum, King of Siam, Mystery of the Abbey, Manilla,....etc. So let us know what you are thinking! I'd like to try more Memoir '44 if anyone else is interested.
Are we expecting a storm on Wednesday? I see that Atlanta got nailed and it's heading north.

Anything less than 3 feet isn't a storm here, Jeff. In fact, your nickname actually translates to "Dusting Bringer" in New-Hampshirian (note that the "r" is not silent like it would be further south).
I plan on bringing Railways of the World.

When was the last time there was a 3 feet of snow total on the ground here? So far this season, the only accumulation I've seen can be moved with my shoe. Granted, I was in Michigan (which had snow past my knees) for Christmas. Apparently there was where some flurries I missed (followed by a few 50 degree days).
The Ski hill back home has been open since early December. The only reason Whaleback is open is because they MAKE THEIR OWN. You must live on the other side of Whaleback.

I'll try to show up as long as the roads aren't iced over. Maybe this week i'll get to try merchants and marauders. Though factory manager and vegas showdown were both fun last week.

Michigan Shmichigan.
I'm pretty sure the other day I overheard some people saying they wanted to get a second home in Michigan because they hate the snow up here in the winter.
Then they decided against it because, lets face it, who wants to live in Michigan? (unless you like corn, right?)

I would love to try some Railways of the World. As for the snow...I will wait and see. Not worried about how much, but if I have to drive in the 1-2 inches per hour portion of the storm! Hell if I could make it to Winter Weirdness Saturday... Triple Play should be a breeze!

Oddly enough, I think "Michigan Shmichigan" was the new tourist slogan (or was it Ski Michigan?). I'm not sure what their season total is now with the recent 20" they got.
As for Corn and lack of snow, you must mean Wisconsin. Not much but potatoes grow around Marquette (unless you count black flies). But, if they really want a second home in Michigan then send them my number. I've got a lovely 3 bedroom home just a few blocks from Lake Superior. We refer to it these days as "our Summer House".

Snow looks like it will be bad all day.
To be safe, we will close early tonight (6pm or before)
