Hey, Is anyone interested in playing a game of Axis & Allies? I'm trying to put a D&D group together for my RPG fix, but finding people to play A&A seems just as difficult. Its such a great game and I have several versions that I would love to bring in and play.
Just getting a general interest. So post away and lets get a game going in the near future.

I would be interested in playing some time. I used to play quite a bit. I really like playing Double Blind and Carnage has three copies of the game so we could do that. I would not even mind facilitating the game if we got enough players. To do that we would have to schedule a time with Tony. Double Blind would take up three tables and A&A to its conclusion could be a long game.
But otherwise a night or afternoon of A&A would be fun.

I would be interested as well. Haven't played A&A before though.

I have been playing that game since it first came out. I'm in for playing.

I'm glad to see some interest generated. I have a copy of the revised edition, which they used at Carnage for the double blind, a copy of 1942, that came out last year and I also have a copy of the Anniversary edition. I would be up for starting with the traditional revised copy and going from there. Also, the revised version is a great introductory board for beginners.
What time and day(s) of the week work best for everyone? Right now, I have weekends off but with the upcoming holiday, it might be best to look towards the first of the year. What say you?

Weekends work best for me. That being said...they also fill up the quickest. If we are talking after the first... I could literally play Sunday the 2nd. Or perhaps the 9th. (The 8th is Winter Weirdness in Barre...another good place to play...plenty of people) After that I would have to check my calander. I am also off the week between X-Mas and New Years... maybe one afternoon/evening then? Rod

What Rod said. That is pretty much exactly what I was going to post.

How about Sunday the 9th? I might be able to pull Sunday the 2nd, but might be out of town that weekend, I'll post back for that date.

That makes four...just need one more. I sent Tony a message asking about the 9th. I just wanted to make sure there were no other events that day. Rod

Sounds like a plan. Assuming the space is available, we'll plan on gaming Sunday the 9th. I can't think of a better way to usher in the New Year than some WW2 boardgame carnage.

The 9th is good with Tony. Start at 10am when the store opens? Rod

Excellent. Sunday the 9th at 10AM, sounds perfect to me. I can't wait to wage epic WW2 warfare.
