Can someone explain how a Skaven Warlord gets a 2+ armour save when equipped like so: Warlitter, Foul pendant, Warpstone armour, poisoned attacks and shield. 2+ armour save, 5+ ward, 8 attacks.
Warpstone Armour grants a 4+ armour save according to the book. Heavy Armour (Base Armour) with a shield is 4+. Does the Warpstone increase that by 2 for a 2+ armour save? With the Warlitter wouldn't it be 1+ armour save (with a parry save as well) or doesn't that count as a mount?
Mounted + Heavy Armour with Shield is 3+ according to p179.

Execpt you take the warpstone armour(4+) then addthe shield +1 then the bonus for being mounted +1.

So let's talk about ward saves and shields... with a Talisman of Endurance it's a 5+ ward save. The shield is a 6+ parry save.
If I get hit, I would roll 2+ for the armour save, then 6+ for the parry save, and finally 5+ for the ward save?
or does the ward save get increased by one for the shield to 4+?

Unless it says otherwise you only use the best wardsave, in this case the 5+. You only get one wardsave. So you would take the 2+ armour then the 5++ wardsave. They don't stack like armour saves.
