The High Command reports German forces showed up on the battle field intoxicated and cursing the enemy on Nov 12th at Triple Play.
They spent all night in the Russian brothels. They were enjoying good Vodka and women. They awoke on a foggy morning and were surprised by a huge attack by the Russian army.
The High Command has banned the use of Vodka. German troops in there drunken state were mistaking bottles of vodka for tank rounds. The results were disastrous. German tanks when hit by enemy rounds exploded in balls of fire. Crates of Vodka was mistakenly used as sandbags in the trenches. Many German Infantry perished when the crates of vodka was set on fire.
Some German infantry were overheard talking how it was a waste of good Vodka. The High Command ordered a full retreat and had senior Officers relieved of duty.

I think the Germans drank a bit less vodka up in the north. In northern Finland, the Germans continued their fighting withdrawn after the Finns surrendered. Soviet pressure forced the Finns to attack the Germans as they retreated. Initially the Germans were slow to respond with the Finnish pioneers taking out a grenadier platoon and a platoon of Brumbars. However, the Germans quickly shrugged of the effects of the vodka and responded in full. In the end it took the accurate MG fire from two Finnish Sturmi (German lend lease Stugs) to pin the final German assault which otherwise would have retaken the objective.

I think the German problem was not to much vodka rather it was a lack of Vodka. Pravda reports"that no drunk Germans were seen on the field, rather when last seen most Germans were running from the field as fast as they could go. A little Vodka might have helped
