In the near future, the CERN Large Hadron Collider experiments in high energy collisions result in an event referred to in myths and fables as the Big Mistake. Every possible alternate reality crashed into our version of Earth, resulting in a bizarre apocalypse as multiple timelines and environments became enmeshed with ours. (In 85 percent of the alternate Earths, the Cold War resulted in nuclear war)
Suffice it to say, Gamma World is a very strange place to live. Animalistic mutant tribes battle against psionic yetis and humanoid badgers with anti-gravity guns. One of the most feared creatures in the wild is a manticore like creature called the Yexil, which has a particular taste for clothing.
It's weird, it's awesome, and it's one of the oldest RPGs, originally produced by TSR alongside D&D in the 80's. Wizards of the Coast recently released a box set to serve as a starter for a 4th edition D&D take on the classic game.
And I want to run it! I've heard some interest after talking about it in the store, and would like to use this thread to gauge interest.

Alright so I have Chris, Devin, Patrick, Drew, Albie and Kevin potentially. That seems like a pretty solid group. The hard part is coordinating everyone to play!
It seems like most people have Tuesday nights as their best availability. I work at 6am, so we would have to get started around 530-6ish and would have to wrap up by 930 or 10 at the latest.

Alright, so I'd like to get this thing going, every other Tuesday at Triple Play. I'd really prefer to start around 530-6 because we need to be done by 930-10ish.
how does December 7th sound for the first session?

It looks like I'm going to have to miss this week. The fine example to us all responsible for writing my schedule decided that removing Tuesdays from my availability is secondary to his desire to not have to actually do anything. My application to Borders is being filled out currently.

You mind if we play without you, Devin?
