Right now, I expect to be in also. Any idea of how many people? I have to drive an hour each way, and if we will not have enough people to have a full tournament I can come a different night instead - I understand there is a 40K team tournament in game castle that day also.

Our regular turnout is between 8-12 players. I'd expect to see no less than 8 at the tournament.

Can I get a rough headcount of who's thinking of coming? Tony and Chris are away at a 40K tournament so I just want to check it's still worthwhile to run an event.
Cheers Mark

No worries, Patrick: we'll get some games it at some point!
Will, that's great. Geoff and Chris are coming from Mass, and Gary will also be there. Shelby and I may be a little late as we'll be visiting a very sick relative in the morning, but we should be there close to if not before midday. Looking forward to a day of cards to help take our minds off things.

Despite some unfortunate absences due to scheduling conflicts, we still saw eight players gather for our monthly L5R constructed tournament here at Triple Play. We played four rounds of Swiss with a cut to top four in order to give everybody a full day's worth of games, and here's how things stood at the end of Swiss:
1st Jamie Morway (Crane) 3-1 2nd Geoff Prugh (Mantis) 3-1 3rd Ashley Morway (Phoenix) 3-1 4th Gary Farr (Lion) 2-2
5th Chris Medico (Scorpion) 2-2 6th Shelby Armitage (Phoenix) 2-2 7th Will Minsinger (Mantis) 1-3 8th Antonin Robbason (Phoenix) 0-4
In the semi-finals, Gary beat Jamie and Ashley beat Geoff. In the final, Gary couldn't repeat the feat of beating a fast honour runner, and despite taking a province and triggering Alter History to pull Ashley back down below 40 honour on one turn, he couldn't crack any further provinces and Ashley crossed the next turn. The top four split $45 worth of store credit, while everyone in attendance left with at least five promo cards. In addition, thanks to the generosity of AEG and Triple Play, everybody also left with either a set of Clan deck backers or a Clan foil pack.
Our monthly tournament for December will likely be on a Sunday - details will be posted shortly. Don't forget that there is a Winner's Choice tournament at the Game Castle in Londonderry, New Hampshire on Saturday December 4th!
Thanks, Mark
