Antonin and I played the first mission of "killzone" Tuesday night. It is like kill team I think with some slight changes. It was a blast. It was refreshing to change up 40k a bit. We were able to play two games in under an hour. It was nice that I got to try the attacker and the defender. It was very simple ruleswise. We are talking about inviting non-warhammer players to join in because it would be great to start people on. Watch out for the grenade ruels though... holy crap! Overwatch is cool but not OTT. I played Blood angels and Ant played Night Lords. I lost as the defender and tied as the attacker. Never ever play Death company in this. rage just sucks. Winning as the defender I think is touch. I challenge some of you to try a game or two or next time I am in the area I will throw down with the angels. FYI it is fan based with I believe some input by unknown powers in GW. galaxyinflames.blogspot.com/2010/07/special-operations-battles-ideas.html

I recommend people check this out. After looking at the rules, they did a good job of upgrading the skeleton that is Kill Team (from Battle Missions book).
I want to play!

Ive been looking into this and combat patrol and ive been thinking minus the ability to use some kind of spam list or what not running a small tourny at this level points might be a fun way to try out that new army or test to see how good that HQ really is compaired to others or somthing. Just an idea im tossing out there
