Does anyone want to play the Island of Blood scenarios this Saturday (Oct 2)? I can be at the store when it opens (10am) or later. I would like to leave by early afternoon though. I will bring my (semi-painted) IOB set, Skaven book, and two copies of the printed scenarios along with reference sheets which includes the stats for both Skaven and High Elves. You should only need dice and a tape measure. A High Elves book wouldn't hurt though. Is there anything going on this Saturday which would tie up the tables (tournament, etc)? Here's a link to the scenarios: www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?pageMode=multi&categoryId=&pIndex=0&aId=11000035a&start=1Jeff

Thanks Poof. I'll be there.
If anyone else wants to play a scenario around noon, feel free to stop by.

I'd like to, but early Saturday will be hard to commit to. Saturday afternoon will be easier. What time does the store close?

So, Jeff, around noon is good, but how early are you planning on leaving in the afternoon, as two beginners (this will be my second game ever) will take a few hours at least to run through a scenario, I'd imagine.
I'd be playing High Elves, but won't be having a book. I am trying to get the rules read, though, but no guarantees on being able to get through the rulebook in time.
So maybe we should put it out another week... Up to you.

If the weather is crappy, I'm sure I can stay longer. The forecast is cool and clear though. The family was planning on picking apples. Why don't we "play it by ear". The family doesn't get motivated until after Noon anyway.
I thought the scenarios were designed to play fairly fast with the suggestion to switch sides and play it over. We'll see.

Robert, I'll have a high elf book there that you are more then welcome to use, and if you are intrested in using the high elves you got from your island, I'm more then happy to lend you the high elf book.

He Poofy, like to borrow that if I can, yeah.
Jeff, I will bring High Elves and plan for noon arrival or so.
Oh, if I can get some dry weather I might take advantage and do some spray painting as I have been in need and unable to with the rain! So I might be a little late in that case.
Oh, and one last remark: with precious few exceptions, I really have no clue who you all are with those usernames, so "I am going to be there" without signing it to give some clue to your identity means absolutely nothing to me! (I will assume that whomever hands me a High Elf book Saturday is poofy, lol)
