I think so. I have to clear things with Sean.
By the way, Shaky Matt has also confirmed, which means that only Andy is still up in the air (but I think he's pretty much in) so we have a full compliment. This is exciting!

I can't believe I forgot Carnage These dates look fine to me - it will be easier to plan around them. Is everyone planning to show up tomorrow? If so we can finalize the details (who is overlord, expansions we are going to include, etc) Thanks, Andy

For anybody not playing: we will take bets on who wins the campaign.

Hi, For those people playing on Sunday, who haven’t played before, here are some links to the rules and character creation strategy. I think that you only need to review the rules to the base game – though I linked the Sea of Blood rules if you would like to view those as well. Standard Descent Rules: www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/descent/descentrules.pdfSea of Blood Rules: www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/descent/descent-sea-of-blood-rules-web.pdfI figure that we can go over the rules and standard strategies for the dungeons, sea battles, towns, etc when we get to them. However the initial section of characters and starting skills is pretty important for the heroes and it may be hard to decide if you haven’t played the base game yet. Someone on BGG wrote two strategy articles that may help with this initial decision: Guide for character selection in Sea of Blood: www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/551013/whats-in-a-seafaring-characterGuide for choosing starting skills in Sea of Blood: www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/550154/must-have-skillsThis way the “heroes” will have no excuses as the Overlord pillages their cities and crushes their spirits. As for the starting time on Sunday – I thought that the store didn’t open until 10:00? I can play until around 4:00 – though it sounds like Rod may want to end earlier. Either way works for me. Should we include a break for lunch? Thanks, Andy

I'm working this Sunday, and I'd love to have you guys at the store. By all means set up on the tables upstairs! I'll be there by quarter of 10am if not sooner.

We will start at 10 am and we have permission (from Sean) to end whenever. I certainly was planning on going until at least 4, quite possibly later (5, 6, 9, etc). With Descent campaigns you have to break at certain points (at the end of a dungeon level, iirc) I know people (Andi and Shaky Matt (and me)) have had to exert some pressure to get these days off from kids, wife and other duties so we might as well make the most of it!
I do suggest we break for Lunch. Actually, Sean mentioned he'd come over and sit with us for a bit because he's looking forward to see Descent in action. I suggest we plan on going for lunch when he gets there, which is noonish.

I will have to leave this Sunday by 2:30pm. Most other Sundays on the schedule staying later will not be a problem. Sorry......
I am reading the rules now... so I should have a basic idea of what I am doing...
There is strategy in this game? I thought we just desended into the dungeon, killed things and took their stuff? ;-)
See you guys Sunday. Rod

Hi Rod, if you are OK with it, I want to ask Brad to take over for you after you leave. Unlike a role playing game that should not be too much of a problem.
I just ordered the map board with one day shipping, as I all forgot about it. It should be here Saturday, JIT for the game.

No problem.... again sorry for having to leave early this Sunday. Like I said, this will not usually be a problem.
Looking forward to playing!
