Hey guys dunno if anyone here has played Mordheim before. Im interested in maybe a fall Mordheim League, after the 40k summer league winds up. If no one has played Mordheim before its a really cool skirmish game set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe. You control a warband of treasure hunters scouring a destroyed empire city battling with other warbands for treasure. Your warband members gain experience and skills over time. It's very fun. Please respond if interested. The amount of models required is very small, usually no more than 10 -12 max. The rules for the game are available as a free download from the Games Workshop site. www.games-workshop.com/gws/content/article.jsp?community=&catId=cat200208&categoryId=1100010&aId=5300009I figure after all the 40k lately, we could try something different.

I'll do it even though I'll probably get screwed by my Chaos Warrior instincts with fantasy stuff. (I just read the rules and made a 6 model list.)

mordheim is a numbers game. Id go with little gear if any and squeeze as many guys in as you can. Though im sure chaos warriors cost out the butt in gold.
You should try beastmen. Im sure your chaos fantasy army could use some Slaaneshi beastmen.
Plus losing warriors to injuries and death hurts a lot less when you have a bunch of guys, as opposed to an expensive chaos warrior with lots of gear.
Also big exception.
The High Elf Shadow host of Nagarythe list is not allowed. It has proven in many many campaigns to be BROKEN. If you are a long time triple play gamer and need further proof, Josh Bonney used to enjoy using it. That should tell you something.

I didn't notice the beastmen list. It pleases me that I can fit 9 models into the list at the same time as a minotaur with a great weapon (Two handed weapon, meh.)
Are there rules somewhere for the maximum characteristics of a minotaur. It doesn't say in the warband entry, and the only maximum I'm given anywhere is that for gors from before the warband was released. As far as I know, a minotaur is a rather large creature when compared to a gor.
