OMG... scenario one is crazy... tempted to take the puppet but I have already prepared the skaven. Double grey seer with the 13rth anybody! Also the Lucky Item Scenario. I almost vommited when I thought of Poofys dragon lord with this thing. Crazy. The missions: www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_CustomProductCatalog/m1390133a_WH_Ard_Boyz_Scenarios_2010_SemiFinals.pdfIt will be pretty sweet for the seer on the bell to reroll ward saves. Maybe I will have to make that Warlord on a war litter. Interesting missions I do say! May the underempire blow themselves up to victory!!!

You know, for a tournament supposedly designed to measure the greatest player in the land, they sure do throw in a lot of game-breaking special rules. I think the overall winner might just be someone who happened to bring an army that gets boned the least from these nutso rules, not necessarily the best general.
Not sure why this continues to surprise me, it was the same way in the 40k ard boyz, after all.

what those rules say to me, is MORTARS! or grudgethrowers. stuff that doesnt implode over your own best unit with a huge strength 10 template while having a 50-50 chance to suck your general into the warp.

I saw the first mission and laughed. It doesn't hurt my army at all and it may make people cut down on magic!

For the lists like empire and dwarves that is true. With a little luck though my big stuff will hit combat turn two. Plus my list has enough big scary units that hopefully they can't take them all out before one or two hit combat. It all comes down to who I face though in the end. I doubt the first mission will stop too many people from completely cut out magic.

The first mission is the worst one GW has ever designed. Whatever dumbass decided to have a game's end decided by Breaking Point and its outcome decided by Victory points needs to be taken out back and shot.
Yes, worse than varying gravity.

An old 3rd edition Rogue Trader mission (From When GW actually made those) Where you rolled a die on a chart to decide if everything could move d6 less inches or, in very rare cases, d6 more inches for the turn.

Question for Devin and Poofy - should I be honoring victories by playing some Erasure? Or soothing the sting of defeat by playing some Erasure?
