The intent of this thread is to gather information so I can order enough copies of the 8th edition so that no one is left without.
Please make one post and one post only =) If by chance you need more than one copy, please state that as well. I've no idea on price on book or box set or even if a box set will be available the day of release.
*update* I emailed the rep regarding book/box set and these were the remarks:
"There will be a boxed set for eighth edition; it will be some time after the book that is all I know currently."
"I would imagine there will be a “special” version of the book, however whether this is a collectors edition or a bundle pack with dice/templates/bag I do not know yet."

Put me down for a boxed set. If it looks like there will be months (September/October) before one is released, put me down for a book. I'll pm my new contact info.

Word is that the boxed set is High Elves vs Skaven, and won't be out until the fall. Sept/Oct I heard.

Hey Jeremy,
GW announced that they're taking pre-orders. Do those of us who would like to order a new book need to do anything else ahead of time or just wait until they arrive?

$75 for a book... hoo boy... If you're already buying the book, might as well get the special edition, it's not that much more!

The book seems way to big and cumbersome for table top play. And $75 to boot. I think I'll wait till box set comes out to get the smaller rule book. And sell the miniatures to recoup some money back.....

At the moment, we have 2 collector's edition coming. If we in fact do get 2, one of them will be yours. Just making sure, but you do know the price is $123.75 and that is just the book, I will admit...the book is sexy as hell.
