Next week, Wed May 12 2010: StarCraft!
Again??? Yup, we liked it so much we're bringing it back while there's still some people around that remember the rules.
Don't worry, it won't be the only game that will be played, and as always, if you have a request the make sure to post up a message on these boards (just hit reply!)

Just realized my use of the word "munchkin" might infringe on Steve Jackson games copyright. My apolgies...there will be no kicking down of doors or fighting monsters....to my knowledge....although each kid will be wielding a bat..... ;-)

Big game of Starcraft last night. 6 players some new to the game, went till midnight. and truth, justice and the Terran way prevailed with no wars and a peaceful demeanor!

What Chuck is trying to say is:

It was rudonculous!
But fun. Thanks everyone for playing and sticking it out 'till the end! (including those of us that were playing a somewhat different game with extra rules that were invented on the fly, and I fully agree, if we played by those rules he would have won!)

Better Xenos die, than Terrans. which is even better when they spend their strength killing each other allowing the peace of Terra to spread in the aftermath of their orgy of destruction.

Wrong universe, Chuck! The Terrans in StarCraft are descendants from exiled prisoners from the United Earth Dictorate, a socialist totalitarian society guilty of commiting large scale genocide on Earth. These exiles formed the "Confederacy of Man" in the Koprulu Sector, an extremely brutal and utterly corrupt government. The Confederacy was then overthrown by the Sons of Korhal who replaced it with the Terran Dominion, a fanaticly religious autocracy under dictatorship of Emperor Arcturus Mengsk (you). Humans are not the good guys, just saying.  |
