What?: StarCraft Day!
Where: at Triple Play!!!
When: Sat April 24 at 1 PM until someone is the winner
Who?: Anyone!!!
On Saturday April 24 we will we will play StarCraft, the board game (with Brood War expansion). StarCraft is a huge, great big fun and very involved game of intergalactic warfare between three different races for up to 6 players that will play over several hours. Risk on steroids in space, but completely different. Participants should count on it taking all afternoon.
The Triple Play StarCraft Day is part of Fantasy Flight Games' StarCraft Day events that are organized all over the country. It looks like we might have some StarCraft II (the highly anticipated upcoming PC game sequel) Beta keys to hand out to the winners. More on that later (when I know more!)
StarCraft is not a difficult game to learn, and new players are more than welcome. But, fair is fair, this isn't the easiest game to learn either, and if you have never played it before it would be a really good idea to read through the rules. They are posted online here:
