Great night on the 31st! There were three different groups playing games. Downstairs, Washington's War was going on. Amy ran Pandemic and lost the world twice..... and over at the other table the Tower of Babel was being built and people were managing their Factory.
Overall a great night of board gaming.
Next week: I plan on bringing Bohnanza. I have wanted to get this on the table for awhile. It is a good, short game to start with. Any requests for other games? We are totally open.... let us know.
Thanks Rod

Is there interest in any of the following ? [my current favorites]
Tigris & Euphrates Dominion Gates of Loyang Settlers of Catan card game Agricola Le Havre Taluva "Mega" Carcassonne with most or all expansions Tobago
I don't own but would like to play Power Grid.
Notice that all but first and last on the list play well solo, and I'm working on solo Tobago.
The requirement for solo playability comes from living down a class 4 road in the Northeast Kingdom. To me West Leb. is metropolitan big city. It even has a game store which is more than can be said of many really big cities.

Rick all of those would be great. We do play Dominion. Tigris and Euphrates and Settlers of Catan card game have hit the table within the last few weeks. I own Power Grid and can have it available anytime. (I know the guys enjoy it....) I own all of the boards.
Just let us know when you are coming down and we can plan on playing one of your games.
Amy sent me a message about this coming week:
Next week I'd like to bring and set up a large 6-player Seafarers of Catan board. I'm not sure if people have played many of the 6-player scenarios in the book- new islands to sail to and settle, and the gold resource hexes. It might take a while to set up, so maybe people can play Bohnanza while I'm counting out hexes and number chips and ports?
I would be interested in this...Anyone else?

I have not played Seafarers beffore, but I always enjoy vanilla Settlers, so I would be in. Rick: Dominion and/or Agricola would be awesome. Actually, we've been talking about getting a more game of Agricola together with somewhat seasoned players (i.e. no people who have not played before) to try and introduce some of the more complex card options (I and/or K decks). It might be fun to have you in on that. Also, if we know to expect you we can make sure we have at least one heavy euro non-coop game going

I'd be interested in the Seafarers game.
Also, it looks like our 'big game' is already set for tomorrow, but I dug out my copy of Twilight Imperium (3rd edition) from it's resting place and would be more than happy to bring it in at some point if people are interested.
