How does the Magnificient Buboes spell work with the DE Pendant of kaleth?

The buboes just says take a wound while the pendant says you have to roll equal to or under the Strength.

The buboes has no strength. How in the world would this work??

The Pendant wearer would have to roll a - (0) or lower on a D6. If they pass, you call them a cheater for having a 0 on their die.
