Is there interest in a Winter WFB League?? Perhaps starting in late January and running into March?
Something along these lines:
You have survived Harma-Gheddon (last winter's campaign) and have built your own small power base (last summer's campaign). Now you are a Baron, Count, Earl, Thane, Aspiring Champion , etc. with a small fiefdom sufficient to keep a 2000 point army in the field. But, you want more!!! In the power void and devastation remaining after Harma-Gheddon, a crown is out there for the taking!
You win points by winning battles, by using your political influence to convert other unorganized territories to your banner, and by diplomatic maneuvering with other players. Plus there will be a hidden factor involved so no one can simply add up victory points to determine who is really in the lead.
Highest victory point total at the end of the campaign wins the crown. The rest of us are left to vie for Ministerial positions.
Of course, there will have to be the obligatory megabattle to close out the campaign.
This would be a map based campaign.
