Date for a May FOW Event??

We are tying to pick a date in May for another FOW event. Vacation plans and anniversaries limit us to the weekend of May 10 and 11 or May 24 and 25.

Would an event on Mothers Day (May 11th) work?

What about May 25th - the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend???

Trying to go with a Sunday so Jeremy can bring his Shermans.

Initial thinking is - Blitzkrieg 1942 - High Tide of the Wermacht. A team event where the allies try to stop the German advance into Egypt or southern Russia (maybe both if we have enough players). Team games with 2 tables, 3-4 750 point forces per side.

As always when u guys get it hammered down, let us know the date and well gladly put it on the site in the news and on the calendar.

The event will be Saturday, May 10th. So, if you can put it on the calendar, great!

It will be a team event. Need four german players and four british players. Preregistration required. Blitzkrieg '42 - Cairo or Bust. First of three events to decide the fate of Egypt.
