Anyone planning on any FOW this Friday?
On Saturday, the Two Steves met the One Wayne in a mid-war desert armored battle classic. Italians and Brits fighing over water supplies in a small village. Two water objectives in the middle of the table. Tense, exciting game. For like four straight player turns each side had to send a "suicide" force to contest one objective while clearing the other side's "suicide" unit off the other objective. Victory (and defeat) hung by a thread for both sides. At one point, Wayne passed 7 straight platoon morale checks over three turns. Even the end was close. All the Italians had to do was to pass a company morale check first before they won by having sole possession of one objective. In good Italian fashion, they failed the 4+ die roll and left the field.
