What about it guys? One last blowout event for old times sake??
The game room has been reserved for March 29th.
New Steve, Mike B (yes, TankTracks himself!!), and I have been throwing around some possibilities.
Thoughts are either a megabattle or an escalation tournament.
Anyone have any preferences between the two?

Based on the email floating around looks like people are interested in doing midwar.
what do people think of doing 3 rounds or so of escalation (600, 900, 1200) then whoever wants to stay can play in a late war tank mega battle?

I would be fine with Mid War, and North Africa setting seems as good as any. At this point, three rounds of escalation seems like it would work fine. And I am very much up for a Late War mega tank battle.

Lets plan on mid war, North Africa then. What about three rounds, escalation - 600 points, 900 points, and 1275 points? Folks can use any midwar list but we will do all the tables as North Africa tables. Will, Mike and I have desert terrain and probably can do one table each at least. Anyone else have desert terrain? One hour for the 600 point game, 90 minutes for 900 points and two hours for 1275?? So we might finish around 4 or so? Anyone up for hanging around a bit longer and doing something like a Gotterdammerung game - final days of the war in Berlin - race to hang your flag on the Reichstag and/or capture Hitler and other top Nazi Party officials?

I like the Gotterdammerung idea, have never played such an event before. I will still bring ample tanks in case we decide to run with a tanks only battle.
