Hey all!
I just wanted to let you know that I miss hitting the table with my Shermans and their company. It more sad to say that it is been many months since I have taken them out to play cat and mouse with the big cats. I hope that I can join you all some time in the coming months, even if it is only to observe and get my brain thinking that way again.
Things have been quiet in rutland with no gamers in site.
I hope all is well with everyone! How have things been at the store? How often is everyone gaming? How many players do we have now? must be quite a few? Any new FOW exciting news? I saw that video and am itching to get those revised normandy books and pick up all of the Ardennes/Battle of the bulge books. Course... it wouldnt hurt to break out my pieces and pick up painting again ha ha!
Good luck on the table and stay in touch!

FOW Gaming at the store since June has been pretty dead, only one or two games the only big game was an EW thanksgiving where we got 6 err 4 people. Temis

I would absolutely love to game a regular gaming session back up and running. I have been trying to, but it has not worked out so well. If we could get at least an active group of 4 or more, that would really hit the sweet spot for regular gaming. And I realize people's schedules are typically up in the air, so gaming every two weeks would be good to start with I think. I'll be posting on a Battle of the Bulge game, and I hope you'll both be able to make it.

I would like to get back to playing regularly as well. However, variety is the spice of life. Playing the same couple of players each week does get into a rut.
It's nice that we mix things up with team games and what not. But, I think we need a bigger player base to keep things sustainable.

I agree with you that some more diversity in the club would hold more people's interest for continued gaming. However, I think at the next that we meet, hopefully next Friday night, then we should discuss some ideas to recruit more members into the group. Unfortunately our current campaign manager, osmosis, is not doing a good job. I have a few ideas on the matter and would like to get everyone's opinions.

Looks like the earliest I would be able to get back is some time in February. I just picked up some extra work next week.

I might be able to get back into things on a once or twice per month basis starting here soon.

Well, if you can make it, there will be an event this Friday night at the store. I am hoping that at least three people show up.

I am looking to get back down there for at least one solid block (4 maybe 5 hours) a month. I need to get my mini's back out and painted. At best you may only get a couple of days notice and as on July 14th I will be leaving for 5 months to go to another army school. I AM TRYING! I PROMISE!
And FYI my armies are
Armor Company Armored infantry Beach Landing Company
and maybe a couple others depending on what I want to field.
