Hello folks! Its me your friendly neighborhood commissar making a call to the Triple Play Community.
I've been working on an Independent wargame dealing with conflict in the 18th and early 19th century, it deals with mostly European and New World conflicts but can also apply to Asian and African countries with some imagination.
The size of the game is currently at 'company' sized battles of a few score or hundreds of models on each side depending on the build of the army, or navy. That's right this system includes naval battles as well. Though the game can be played with as little as a few dozen minatures in a skirmish scenario. The models are mounted on square or round bases which can be multi-figure based. the model sized range is 25-28MM scale. The formations are not 'shoulder to shoulder' and the play stlye is more akin to WHFB or 40K. Than say
Tremble Ye Tryants or Black Powder.
At this phase in the development I'm ready for the first play testing to begin. That means you'll get a chance to play the game and possible influence how the it is developed.
If you are interested in becoming a Play Tester here is some info you should be privy to.
- The rules come and the rules stay with me. When I bring the rule set up to T-Play to do the testing, after the battles it comes home with me. Its not that I don't trust you its just that I don't trust any body these days.
- The note book. If you decide to become a play tester you'll receive a small note book which you'll write your name down in so I can credit you when the game is published and also for you to write down suggestions or problems in the game. I'll be ready to take your feed back while we're play testing but still if I run multible games or if I'm distracted I won't be able to be there to listen to you, so please write clearly I'll be taking the notes with me.If after the game you have more Ideas PM me.
-Models. For the most part you needent worry about bringing in minatures of your own, I'll be bringing my own collection. Though if you want to bring your own feel free to do so and we can have larger battles. Proxies are welcomed.
-Time.Since this is a new system, which even I havn't had a chance to play, I estimate the game it self to last around 2 hours, but more than likely the first few games will last 3-4 hours.
If you agree to the play testing PM me and we can see about scheualding a game up at T-Play. If you are interested in gaming in this time period my system follow the links below for armies on the cheap.
