Tank battles in Villers-Bocage. Free for All mission.
British 4 Armoured Brigade (Confident Vet) 2000 pts
Panzerkompanie (Confident Vet) 1950 pts
Players: Antholin & ColHogan (Jeff M & Jeff V) vs. Will & Matt

Round 1: The British 4th Armoured Brigade spies a German tank column making their way into the city of Villers-Bocage, launching an attack to oust the enemy swiftly. A platoon of 2 Sherman's and 1 Firefly race up and over the railway embankment, bogging down on the tracks and are out of commission for now. Another platoon goes through a tunnel and takes up defensive positions. A Firefly takes a shot at a lone Tiger, no damage. The Tigers respond, being able to re-roll all misses thanks to their superb ace skills, and take shots at the bogged down platoon. They manage to bail 1 out. Meanwhile, 2 Panthers maneuver for shots, taking out 1 Sherman.
Round 2: None of the bogged down tanks manage to unbog, but one does manage to re-mount the tank. Clearing their way through the rail tunnel, a platoon of Sherman's and 1 Firefly, make their way forward, smoking the Tiger, and missing with their other shots. The Tigers respond by taking out a Firefly, prioritizing their target. While the Panthers move and take out 1 Sherman.
Round 3: The British push up and smoke the Tigers and a Panther. Their return fire fails to ring true for any kills. They do manage to finally unbog the originaly bogged down platoon. One tank is towed off the hill to relative safety by a Sherman recovery vehicle. The Tigers and Panthers manage to take out another Firefly and Sherman.
Round 4: The remaining Firefly's and Shermans continue to pour on the fire and smoke into the Tigers, finally taking one of the beasts out, and bailing the other. German tankers are able to remount the Tiger and kill a Sherman, while a Panther platoon on the German right flank starts to maneuver closer to the battleground.

Round 5: The British left flank forces finally make a push for their closest objective, taking 1 shot at a Panther long range, no hit. Meanwhile, the British right flank forces are finally in a position to take out the last Tiger, and a side shot on 2 Panthers. Unfortunately, the day is not with the Brits, and all their shots miss the mark. Taking full advantage of the British folly, the German tankers stand their ground and take out the remaining right flank Fireflys. They destroy one outright and forcing another to flee the field of battle. 2 Shermans were also destroyed and fled. After the stagger losses sustained by the Allies, they are able to rally and pass their company morale check.
Round 6: The British tankers make one final push against some Panthers, but are unable to score any hits. At the end of their shooting, the British retreat, and surrender the day to the German tank aces.
