FOW: Operation Overlord

Greetings Generals,
Starting this Wednesday, and for our normal Friday session, we will be playing scenarios from Operation Overlord. We will meet at our usual time of 5:30 for setup and commence battles at 6PM. Nations are restricted to American, British or Canadian for Allies, and Germany for Axis, no others will qualify. Army lists can be created only from D-Day related material.

As Operation Overlord is in full swing at this time, games can be registered through WWPD; overlord.wwpd.net/ and prize support will be from Battlefront through the WWPD. All are welcome to play as we fight for control of Western Europe. Overlord battles will most likely continue throughout the rest of July. I will create new posts for each event.

If you intend to play hit the beach then the Allies get 25% more than the Germans and they advise 1500 vs 1250

I'm looking towards a D-Day+ campaign, as it is too late to register a beach assault through WWPD to count towards the prize.

Temis, Jeff V is playing Germans, and I was originally going with an American force. Are you thinking of playing Allies, or an Axis force? Anyone else want to play?

I will not be playing on Wednesday since I will be playing boardgames. But I will play a British force on Friday

Yeah, I was looking at that earlier and had initially turned it down, as I thought Temis was going to play as well. It would have to be modified for play with 3 of us, but will work just fine now.

So, I will run the stalwart Canadians, and you Mr. Jeff V will have the Fearless Vet SS-Paznergrenadier Regiment. I am a bit jealous sir, as Kurt "Panzer" Meyer is to be feared, but the Canadians will prevail.
