It wasn't so much "eat two King Tigers", as all out barbaric slaying of the fine soldiers of the Panzerwaffen arm.
-Oberst Jeffenspiel (love the new titles) ;D

I think Temis all ways picks on the new players with his crock's. I think Temis needs to wear the foot wear (Crock's) to go with his crocodile tanks. I would like to issue a team challenge next week. I would invite my alter ego friend Temis to be on my team. The challenge will be against a team of Germans. Allied team: Will and Temis German team: TBD The Ape rules: Points: 1780 points per player. Time limit: Start time 630 pm. There is no time limit. We play till we have a winner or mutual surrender of either team. So we could burn some midnight oil. Air power: All players can bring air. That way one can spend dice to intercept and the other bomb. Its up to your team. Table size: TBD by the two teams.

I believe Oberst Jeffenspiel has been reassigned to the Ardennes for a little R&R on the "Ghost Front" next friday. We may want to postpone a team game until he can join me on the equally quiet front of the Netherlands.
Any idea what type of missions work well for a team game? We would use two tables?

Greetings fellow Generals, I have been indeed called away for rest & refit of my Panzer divisions. There will be much needed time spent in training against anti-croc tactics, and the learning of a new wonder weapon. The time will be well spent and my divisions will be ready for a joint action against the Allied scourge. With my fellow German commander, we will throw back the combined might of the Allies, and retake what is ours.
I will missing this coming week, but I will certainly be in the area to game on Friday the 24th. As of right now, I am scheduled to work an OT shift, starting at 11PM. However, I will be looking to see if it can be covered, as I would very much like to duke it out and have another big Flames of War game going. Also, thank you for the consideration of waiting until my return, much appreciated, ;D.
-Oberst Jeffenspiel

Who's planning on playing this Friday? I was going to take the day off, but the weather looks like crap and the Whale Watching tours are only running on the weekends right now. I will probably be available to play if we want to try for a team game.
BTW, I worked on some trenches last weekend if we want to try them out.

I will definitely be there this Friday, the 24th. And I would love to see a big team game going. Lets shoot for a joint operations game, of Allied commanders vs. Axis commanders.
Until Friday then.

Well, Temis proved that a veteran tank company is no match for reluctant trained factory workers armed with hunting rifles. 6-1 Victory for Temis on Turn 2. Well played.
We then played a free-for-all tank escalation game. Everyone starts with 3 Medium tanks (Panzer IVs, Shermans, etc) and comes in on a random table edge. If your platoon is killed, you move up to 4 medium. After that you move up to 4 of the next highest (Stugs, 76s, etc). First person with 4 platoon kills wins.

Yes, quite true. The security company was poorly trained and equipped to face the British tank hordes. Good game Temis.
The tank free-for-all was a lot of fun, and quickly played out for the remainder of the evening. I am eager to play the tank free-for-all again, and look forward to the smoking wreckage of the battlefield.
