Twilight Struggle League

Rod and all,

This week I've been thinking a lot about how much fun it would be to play Twilight Struggle a dozen or more times.

However, I've decided that I cannot commit to be available often enough to not be a drag on the league's schedule.

Our diabetic cat requires both my and my wife's presence at 6 or 7 each morning and evening, over an hour's drive from West Leb. This really restricts how early and how often on weekday evenings I can appear at Triple Play, or anywhere else for that matter. Our "going out" to dinner, plays, and movies is now restricted to weekends.

I'm also not willing to spend weekend days indoors during our short summer here , and already have way too many home improvement projects scheduled to eat into those days.

Neither you nor I need the hassle of trying to schedule games with me.

I reluctantly bid this endeavor farewell and somewhat enviously wish you all happy struggling.

No worries Rick. And thanks for the heads up. If you ever just want a game of TS...I am sure it can be arranged! ;D

I will be posting the rules etc... here sometime this week. Four of us played Sunday.

If you are still interested, no worries, you did not need to be here Sunday. We are also going to offer to teach the game if people who have not played, want to join in the league. So don't let the fact that you have not played deter you from playing in the league. This is casual competitive.... ;D

Dave schooled me in 2 games. good games, some luck but mostly he really took better advantage of the cards and possibilities the game gave him. It was great to have such a good opponent who made me struggle to survive in both games.
