Yes, the characters will be tested greatly, finding only dread and despair in their next encounter. Prepare yourselves.

I generated a character from the website. I also downloaded the app for the game. So just show up with my character sheet on the 10th? Will

Yup... bring a 1st level character (or three) and show up. That's all... Actually, you don't even need to bring a character... I'll have some preprinted ones. So I guess all that's needed is... Step 1: Show up** (just kidding) I do encourage you to bring a character or roll one up. D&D experience helps, but one of the main concepts of DCC RPG is "keep it simple". Character sheets could be printed on index cards. Jeff

I rolled up a Grave digger with some good stats. I did not see what class he would be. I always had fun playing D&D. Do I need a model to represent my guy? Will

I'm in.
I'm open to play anything, so what class does the current party need? What is the breakdown as it stands now?

With a low level DCC adventure such as this, there is no need for a specific class yet. If you can just roll up a DCC random character, or there will be plenty available to choose from when you get to the table. Use this link to create a few random 1st level PC's; purplesorcerer.com/create_upper.htm. There are no current character classes picked, so that will be up to players to figure out once they get to the table on the 10th. Each of you will have to sit down and put together a party of adventurers to sally forth. It will make for a very random and fun game.

Well, it was another successful DCC Sunday. The four stalwart hero's marched bravely into the depths of a dark elf infested cavern, only to be find a vicious battle between demons and dark elf alike. It was here the adventurers proved their metal and fought through the ranks, surviving demon claw and dark elf treachery, and finally rescuing a group of hapless souls from the vile clutches of the evil elves. It was here the adventurers proved their metal and fought through the ranks, surviving demon claw and dark elf treachery, and finally rescuing a group of hapless souls from the vile clutches of the evil elves. What awaits them next... Today was a solemn occasion. The dwarf Drax Mirth is committing the body of his brother Drax Morth in a funeral fire for the Dwarven Warrior. Drax Morth fought bravely and struck down three Enemies of the party. Drax Mirth blames the parties Wizard for his brothers death. This was caused by a reckless attack on the Head demon by the Wizard. Morth was fighting other lessor demons in front of the wizard when the head demon came down to attack the wizard and found Morth in the way. Morth was struck and his lifeless body fell to the ground at the feet of the Wizard. The wizard retreated and Morth was left behind. So as the party sits around the Camp fire waiting to move out in the morning. Drax Mirth is slowly using a sharping stone to sharpen his battleaxe while he stares evilly at the wizard and mumbles to him self. Will

Grak the Dwarf also fell during battle, cursing the wizard with his dying breath. Here's where the heroes started out.... ... We did really good job handing out craniotomies to the guards (thanks to the Wizards Ventriloquism spell)... and here's is where it all went so very wrong... Magic Missle to the head demons face... Ya, that won't piss him off... Good times, good times... Jeff

Oh, I almost forgot... the best part for me was doing a Mighty Deed of Arms by throwing the Dark Elf Captain's longsword and running him through the back as he ran away. Killed him with his own sword.
It wasn't magical... I probably would have tossed it sooner or later. :-)
Also, I have to say... we aren't beating up on the Wizard... it was pretty cool to crit a magical missile on the Demon Lord. Well played.
Jeff
